No, it's more interesting with an electron lamp.
You can control the lamp on a grid or cathode, modulate HV, get all sorts of interesting things. ;)

Most builders are stucked, reason being that of interaction and effect. Tesla don't add up even after synchronized arrangements. I believe the system has multiple variations and all be gotten right. There is actually no room for mediocrity in this build, one most know what he is doing.
It just that the system with all the errors that we make is very forgiving otherwise most of us would pack up earlier than expected while trying to build. Most especially when you consider amount invested on procedurement and replacement of burnt components.

I  wish to encourage us to try and investigate faraday's law using Fleming' right hand rule. Simply put use Fleming right hand rule to investigate faraday's law. This might be for you if you have come to a level of this build.

You are most correct in regards to precision.  We are working on the
ragged edges of stability and impedances.  What we would normally
consider a "slight adjustment" turns into an enormous deviation with
this device and puts many off-the-shelf components well outside their
rated specifications.

Very interesting Maxolous.  In order to comprehend the phase
relationship, first you have to know which way the current moves.
What is not clear to me is the virtual "motion of the conductor
relative to the magnetic field".  Have to think about that some
more.

Most builders doesn't give attention to small things. And such can fail someone. They see the system as a sum of the whole and never analyses it in modules. Consequently, current riot in the system they still can't phantom it.

This problem it's true there is a problem with some complainants in this 'site' I my self have been kicked off for mearly pointing of asking questions to so called gurues trying to clear contradictions.
Another killer is finding valuable vids on you tube and pointing to them on here  you will find in most cases the youtube video posting is no more, strange that.

What to do ?  ;D :-X
