I can no longer get notifications of comments and such in my YT inbox. They want me to sign up for an email acct and or mobile number, of which they want my phone number anyway to sign up to Google +.

Just wondering if Im being singled out or if others have the same issue.

Every couple months, YT will ask for my phone number, saying it is for being able to have another way to identify me if I loose my passwords.  But now it seems they are applying pressure by introducing inconveniences.

You must of agreed to a two factor authentication at some point... i get your fustration, i did the same thing.... got very annoyed with it. but after some googling, i found that you can reverse this. Google it and you will find the instructions to take off this phone number verification thing.. remember, youtube is just another one of googles services, so you will probably have to disable this from your gmail account.

Thanks for the replies. ;)

I see Goog and YH say they are not good with N S A  spying and will be encrypting more. The reason the n s a is siphoning from off shore cables is to avoid constitutional issues, as it is not here that they are doing it. Read an article that states admission to this fact. Loopholes. ::)

But I see that as a cover. YH ceo is from Goog, and since she has been in, the bias toward the far  'left' has increased exponentially, that Ive noticed in their news.  I have been in the belief that G was a Gov startup under cover. Their intrusiveness, and data gathering is just off the chain.  Then YH, I had seen huge changes when MM became ceo.

YT. ::)   They act like they are doing us a favor by putting up a list of vids 'Recommended for You". What a useless list. Most I have already watched.  What, are they recommended by me?? lol  Must be a protocol that was designed by the makers of Healthcare.gov.  No real services, just info grabbing.

Its just weird that my YT inbox is still even accessible, but totally useless.  Its like having to go to the grocery store to find out what my electric bill is. It doesnt make any sense other than trying to get your identity. ;)

Lol.  Every where I go on the net, Radioshack ads follow me. Showing me what I have already looked for.  They dont know if I have already gone and bought it and only needed 1.  But they hang it in my face every day in every way, like its a cookie and I am Fat Albert. Hey hey hey, need another relay?

To put all the effort into recognizing you and advertizing to you where ever you are, you might think they try to advertize other electronic components to me. One that I havt looked for but could have similar interests. What Radioshack probably doesnt know is that Googs tactics can get annoying, and while annoyed, you have the name "Radioshack" in yo face.  This cant be good for Radioshack. But I bet they pay a pretty penny to advertize, no matter where you are.

So I wonder if the tactic just involves advertizing.  My buddies pc, on which I never signed in to any of my accts, nor looked up anything at RS.com, seems to have picked up on my web habbits, fox news, ou.com, our.com, naturalnews, intellihub, just to check things if im there, and Radioshack adds showing what I already looked at are showing up. yup, nowhere to hide my friends.

Think about it.  When I come to OU, there are 'usually' certain threads I generally read, when im logged in.  But if Im somewhere else, not signed in, and I engage in my normal habits, Goog knows, or say assumes they know. Just like voice recog, face recog, what we do on the net is the same. Ever seen the phone app that can recognize a song by just listening to a few seconds of any part of the song?  Well, they seem to know my tune. ::) ;)

What is really really REALLY funny??????    I go to YT "NOW" and "recommended for you" vids  ARE ALL ONES I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!!   ALL FRESH!!   Hey, Im happy in a way. That is an improvement. Without 'direct' complaint.  Quite quick also. :o ;) Pretty soon they will be answering our prayers. ;D ::) ??? :-[ >:(

They must have heard me over here.  lol.  Ever watch the address bar while this sight loads up?  Googleads this and google this that.

Hmm, maybe my inbox will disappear. ;D ;) Or maybe start working. :) lol.  Not a chance after this rant. ;)
