Where Can I Buy These??
« on: August 31, 2011, 02:05:24 AM »
I'm trying to replicate a few of the devices at this great site, but I have no idea where I can buy magnetic wheels/rotating discs (as seen in the attached photos) to complete the project. I looked at all the sponsored links, and no can do. Please, help :) !

You need to buy the magnet separately and make your own rotor using plastic
plate that you cut yourself, you cannot buy them unfortunately :)

If you have a CNC machine its more easy to build this but most of us don't have one...

@jfej004

Perhaps could you ask CLaNZeR who is building and selling a (very neat-handed)
"Modular Rig System" (MRS) with "magnetic wheels".

You can consult:
http://www.overunity.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?74-General-discussion-on-MRS

I have purchased one of his MDS and I can tell you that he his very efficient and very honest.

Perhaps, CLaNZeR (UK), would agree to take some special order?
However, as I can guess, he seems to be very busy.

CLaNZeR is also a member of this forum, so you could send him a private email.

Very Best

Excellent suggestion.  I was going to post the same thing but you beat me to it.  Clanzer's work is very good and I have never heard a single thing bad about him at all.

The small neos in that photo can be purchased from many sources.  I buy mine locally but Google will show many places.

@Pirate88179,

Yes, I do agree.

I'm looking forward for some extra parts from CLaNZeR.
Decidedly, he must be too busy.

BTW: is jfej004 really very interested in?
Actually, there are some pennies to scrap up.
Free NRG - should it exist - is not free.
