The Projector Wheel my 23rd design
« on: April 13, 2009, 01:14:41 PM »
Greetings All

Back when I started designing. I saw the design of Dixon Vallance 1835. I see a similar problem with the Sjack Abeling wheel. IMHO
My 23rd design addressed these type of problems. I call it the projector wheel due to the resemblance. It requires traction tracks like some form of rubber to help the reaction,or a geared track and when the balls, bars or geared end bars, get to the end close to the axle they keep spinning on spring backed bearings to reducing the friction then at the correct angle the springs push out the ball, bar, or geared end bar and it grabs the rim or gear and goes up with the belt to the top. The pulley wheels are driven from the axle in a reverse spin, as well as the belt wheels work as flywheels. At least this is the design. Note one other thing. When the weight is being lifted it is also pushing at the same time. As I progress with other projects, I will be releasing more of my older designs for open source.

AB Hammer; interesting improvement over Dixon Vallance. Are you going to try to build it some day? I still see friction, but I see how you are minimizing some of it as well.

Greetings grayone

I posted this wheel for one reason. If the Sjack Abeling wheel works, so would this one.  ;) I even think mine has a better chance. LOL   I am surprised that people haven't posted what they think of it. Maybe they like it but don't know what to say.

Any time you have extra moving parts that just makes more friction. And to much friction kicks our butts.
