Triangle wheel? + the Spyro Sled
« on: October 04, 2007, 04:17:38 AM »
They say you can sove anything with triangle.

Sorry I have pulled the drawing due to a change that I am making to it that will give it a 20% weight gain on the downward side, when I build it I will show it. IT will make #8 that the math works, so now it is time to run the test.

Well while you wait for the Triangle wheel redo, I thought I would give out one of my other ideas for you all to play with. The  Spyro Sled wheel. You will need heavy fishing line weighted bar to fit 4 little wheels on and work up the design as seen with holes eather eyelet ed or small pulleys.

These are not my best designs but I still think it could work.

Well here is a photo of one the the triangle weights, there will be 8 of them 3 inch by 3 inch by 3inch by 3 inch solid steel. I now have to purchase a couple more band saw blades to cut the rest.

If you have any questions please ask.

Well the spyro sled wheel was tested by a computer program and the cables proved to much of a drag. ::) But it does help in proving why Besslers cable units didn't work eather.

I'll see if I can't give you a better design while waiting for the triangle wheel.

Some one on a different forum used a 2D animation. I my self use just good old math and experience. I am one who comes up to a problem and correct it, and to another and correct it. the old blacksmith way. But since I know the problem with it I simply do something that corrects it.

Sorry but I will not add anymore to this string, I have found much better ways. 12-09-07
