Electrodynamic Combustion Control
« on: October 30, 2013, 03:40:27 PM »

ClearSign claims their Electrodynamic Combustion Control (ECC) technology introduces a computer-controlled electric field into the combustion zone to improve control of flame shape and heat transfer. This same technique can also be used to optimize the complex chemical reactions that occur during combustion in order to minimize harmful emissions while maximizing system efficiency.

Sometimes something comes out of left field and knocks my socks of. I am still reviewing this technology but have spent the last few hours digesting the available information. Much of the following is derived fro the website, I will be doing an interview as soon as possible. It is particularly interesting to me given the thousands of hours I spend testing other technologies to improve fuel economy and emission reduction. Some of the claims go way beyond my personal observations and experience so I will tread carefully in my assessment in the futrure.
