Other peculiarities are more essencial.

Full global url to the definite forum
and without topic identificator
is needed

instead of smf default local format
with the parameter like link=topic=.

ok so how would this be configured in smf?
manually somewhere in the code or is it a feature in the forum software?
and how does this help again?

Short format msg= (without topic= id)
helps to preserve the integrity (between quote and original post)
after default procedures of splitting and merging topics,
including splitting in result of deleting posts to the Trash.

Global format with forum domain name in the link
helps to erase the borders between forums
in common informational space of forums
with a set of grivitational mods installed.

Though short format operability was embedded since 2.0
nevertheless smf developers are still resisting
to include the ~freedom of moving posts~ feature
and ~global quoting~ feature
to the default smf.

At least the mods could be developed first
for both 2.X and 1.X versions.

To the contrary, some mods may prevent
the operability of the global quotes
like it is happening on overunity.com forum.
I assume it is PrettyURL mod.
Such forums are out of Grivitational Space.

Currently we are out of grivitational space
therefore it is almost impossible to construct
the samples of distributed defended dialogues
in winded topics on remote forums.

Further, after adding of the Trash board,
another topic like ~Admin to Gri~ is needed again
instead of the one deleted irreversibly
before the trash board creation.

Sorry guys that I was the cause of this discussion; it's all just pure "greek" to me. I only understand that you both: Gri and Ghost are professionals rather than amateurs in a subject somewhat resembling Computer Science, I guess. So, please, don't address this conversation to me; I'm just unfit. :-\

Qwert,
thank you for being the cause of my ~Gri to Qwert~ original topic
at overunity.com forum.

Can you just ignore others' replies to this topic
except those topic author's posts
which are being subtitled ~Gri to Qwert~ intentionally

or, if extra replies notifications are disturbing you,
should Ghost create since now
or as soon as possible
a separate topic ~Ghost to Gri~
to branch our further micro-dialogue with Ghost to there ?

In last case don't you see the more appropriate board
for the public topics of Dialogue type ?

I have NO objection at all for your conversation, guys. I don't feel bad at all about that situation; I just won't take part in this adventure, simply b'coz I don't know the subject and/or, to be more precise, I'm not aware of the subject's terminology.
But, I believe, there are people (including me) who can learn somewhat from this conversation, anyway.
