I've disputed the Copyright Strike, but this process required me to submit my personal details, address etc. and this information will be sent to HopeGirl/FTW.
...

Sorry to hear about this nasty behaviour, especially from a group claiming to 'Fix the World' - obviously a different meaning of the word 'Fix'!  ;-)

One thing you must do, now that they have your address, is to make it very clear, in all public channels at your disposal,  that NONE of the documents/files etc. which you hold and which catalog their lies & false claims are stored at your home address (wouldn't be a bad idea to temporarily move out any difficult-to-replace equipment or builds, to a distant friendly location)

All the best with your stand for the truth!

Tinsel you’re a clever guy, you are the man who could help them, (the people who cant get it to work that is) and yet they scorn an harass you instead of asking for your help. It’s really disgusting the lengths some will go to protect a huge organisation.

Sorry to hear of this stressful time TK. If you did not contest, what would have been the worst outcome? Its a shame you had to give your detail out.

I'll bet FTW is just blowing hot air.   I doubt they would have sued.   Only concern might be their fanatic religious followers might come knocking to try converting you - LOL.

TK:

This is terrible! There is no way she is going to sue you because she would have to come to the jurisdiction in which the alleged "violation" took place.  This means she would have to come back to the US where the U.S. Marshalls probably have some paperwork for her as well as a place to stay for a number of years.  (I am not an attorney nor do I give legal advice and nothing I type here, or anywhere, is to be construed as legal advice of any kind)

If preventing fraud is not fair use then, I suppose I don't know what is.  There are a lot of us that will help you in any way we can.  If contacting Youtube would help, let me know.

I thought you might find this video informative as it deals with a similar situation:

The one video of less than one minute length has been taken down. For six months, I lose the ability to upload videos longer than 15 minutes, I lose the ability to dispute content claims, I lose the ability to use custom thumbnails, to make my videos private or unlisted, and some others.
Yup, "Guilty Till Proven Innocent".
"All a tyranny needs to prosper is for good men to say nothing."

Incidentally, this is one of the reasons why I don't have a YouTube account.

I mourn with you, the extortion of your private details ...now Google, NSA and the USgov has it, too. They might sell it to other corporations later. ...and the Moroccans can rob your lab now  >:(

TK,

As you know, I have been going against Naima Feagin and Dijon Roos for a few months now.

I have stopped reporting this here because of kickback I got from Ramset and Tinman.
Despite trying to show FTW in a negative light with REAL reports from replicators, it was me
that got the run around and threats.

Anyhoo,

I was unsuccessful at persuading the Canadian lady to cease funding them (to the tune of $120,000),
but was 100% successful at stopping them from using crowdfunding websites.

They are MOSTLY uanaware of my involvement (possibly since I am an IT guy).

I have various (lots of) evidences saved on my hard drive,
including the infamous interview with Sterling.

If there is anything you need, please reach out.

I am willing to be used as any sort of reference you may need against this.

Hi TK..

It is simple. download all your youtube videos and upload them to another site in case You tube removes your account.

2. Ignore this and just look after your work.

3. Don't waste money on litigation. This can become a significant psychological and financial drain on you. So simply ignore it.

Please don't rewrite history or your intent here !
Your anonymous 3rd degree public interrogation /abuse of member Gotoluc by his full name   in a  dedicated thread using  his name  [since removed] was exactly what got you poked in the chest , your ignorant assumptions and innuendos regarding Luc in this matter were appalling to say the least.

and now you paint once again with the broad brush of ignorance and arrogance involving members here [myself now and Brad [Tinman] in some  fantasy of yours regarding these people and what exactly ??

what are you alleging NOW regarding myself.. Brad [TinMan] and these people ??

If you are going to start make-believe court cases here and taking public depositions from members regarding their involvement in these Scams by Proxy or ignorance [calling Luc and others here a Coward ??] , and you yourself are completely ignorant of what even transpired ...??

the PM function works just fine here ,a ten second PM to Luc would have sufficed .

Now you try to Paint a Turd with a Golden Brush  and in doing so are attaching {YET AGAIN} persons here  "by name" to this
 QEG ..nonsense.

??
your willingness to make all manner of public assumptions and innuendos here about OU.com  members and their involvement in
This  QEG Fiasco  ... on a complete whim ....is most disturbing to say the least !

Your half measured anonymous attempts to save some Lady from the wolves would probably have been better served by putting on your Big Boy Boots and playing hardball with these fleecing Moroccan's .

but first you should get your facts straight Bud !!

The world's largest solar reflector power plant was just launched in Morocco, a nice milestone for renewable energy,

This is amazing what is going on in that arena,.
Starting with the prime minister of Italy, followed in suit by 35 other countries across the earth. (u.s. included!)

I just wish everyone would give Eric his due credit for making all this possible.
After the MythBusters scam, and all the naysayers, etc....   I bet he is eating his pie laughing at the world right now....

The problem with YouTube is
they, themselves, pretend to be a "copyright" authority.
once posted on youtube, a video is considered to be copyrighted by the terms of service agreement.
So, to even copy one youtube video and repost it on youtube, is a violation of their copyright protection rules.

Now, since YouTube does not actually file a piece of paper with each video, to the U.S.P.T.O.
None of this holds up in the court of law.

It does, however, hold up within their system, and if you value access and usage of your YouTube Account,
you should refrain from violating their imaginary copyright rules, within their server.

If you cannot refrain from doing so, I would recommend creating a secondary YouTube account, from which to post questionable material. That way if something "happens", you don't lose access to your primary account.

In most cases, using a second account within a server, is "malicious", or "deviant", but in this case, the owners of the server
brought this situation to themselves, by failure to investigate copyright claims, and siding with the complainant, ad verum.

S
o, when it comes to YouTube, I personally have no quarrels with anyone owning several YT accts, to accomplish their goals.
