New Idea is it dumb?
« on: April 03, 2011, 07:18:34 AM »
Hello im new to electrolysis, but i am a machinist, and very good at figuring things out and understanding them. with that being said im also an idea person(sometimes they are far stretched) but i have thought of a way to maybe increase the efficiency of using hho. I have learned that electrolysis is more effecient when the water is in steam form, i also have learned that it is less effecient under pressure(also unstable). Third i know that every form of energy produces waste usually in the form of heat. So i devised this engine or mechanism to maybe utilize all of the free energy items we have wether small or large. so a rundown of the "idea" i would like to place a piston in a sleve inside of the electrolysis chamber, using the hho to fire the piston. the hho would build pressure in the capsule, but using a magnetic solenoid i would direct the flow of electrolysis hopefully solving the lag caused by the built up pressure, then the heat that would build up would bring the water to a boil depending on the pressure i decide inside the capsul will determine the boiling point. After the water is boiling the steam pressure will be to much for the capsule so i devised a solution of using a pressure release valve, pipe the steam to a steam engine or through a turbine cool it down to water, then inject it into the piston to start a second cycle, so cycle one would be hydrogen, and cycle two would be water into the cylindar instantly turned into steam because of the heat, and pushes the cylindar down, pumped back out of the exhaust into the unit. the bubbler would be the outer most layer. so feel free to let me have it and call me an idiot, because i don't know or have any clue if this will work, but it is something i could easily machine, and shouldn't cost to much, i would also be building a mini one first. here is a pic, don't laugh i made it in 10 mins and it is not showing the top view yet. just don't want to go any further if im setting up for failure

Very interesting idea.

(By the way, if you re-size your photo to 800 x 600 it will not mess up the page like it is now, where folks have to scroll left to right to read it)

I was a master machinist in the precision ceramic machining field for 20 years. (all diamond tooling)  What sort of machining did/do you do?

I can't really comment on the electrolysis part of this as I only have a passing knowledge of that but, I look forward to reading the comments of others that do know.  This could really be something.

Just download this photo and replace the larger one you posted by using the modify option.

Hey Bill, thanks for the advice about the picture.  I am a third generation machinist, i work for my dad he owns a Precision Gearing company, we specialize in precise gears for medical, and aerospace gears, from .05 to 6.0 inch in diameter, we have 2 swiss lathes 6 cnc turning centers, 1 vertical milling machine, and all of your standard manual machines, we do allot of work in carbide, so i to use diamonds tools.  Its actually great for me building this because i have endless supply to stainless, and carbide since most of our work is in that material.  I also have a cnc mill in my basement, i just got married last week so i had to by that and sneak it into our new house before she got a hold of my money :), i built it myself.  I have always been i pioneer in building projects.  I converted a manual shaper that produce 6 parts an our ran manually by an operator.  into a cnc machine using stepper motors.  So this would be my third project above.  I will end up making it either way just to prove my mind wrong, otherwise its all i think about night and day designing and re-designing in my head over and over, im a freak.  so if anyone in here needs something machined feel free to give me a pm.

my wife said i should of made it an patent it, but i like to think that the government who owns the patents would easily dispose of any free energy source that would strip them of there oil revenue. im not a anti government advocate i just know what i would do if someone was threatening to take money away from me, and i had the means to easily stop them. Thats coming from me a good person.  So i just figure share everything with everybody, and i will take pictures as the build begins and notes and constantly post them.

but lets stay on topic
