Perpetual magnetic motor?

I have read many of the topics here and I saw someone mentioned Working Model. So I have downloaded it.

I tried many different besseler variations, but I did not get anything to work until I got an idea today. And it has been going all the time since i started it. Now on its 6'th hour. The program has stopped a couple of times because an internal error when "my" motor has run for 25000 frames. But it has never stopped because of state of equilibrium.

Then I begin to wonder: Is Working Model reliable?? I have not altered anything in settings.
Will "my" motor run in same way in real life?

I presume you are talking about a computer simulation?
Can you post some pictures, diagrams, photos and such?

No need for pictures if the program is no good, because then it will not work in real life..  but it's still going..  :D

... And now it stopped again. The message is: Could not complete your request because an internal limit has been reached. Now at frame #32765 and about 4200 secs.

Maybe I will build it to see if it works... in this simulator it works fine... but..

It says in body properties stat.fric. 0.3  and kin. fric. 0.3.
I have not altered anything besides enabling Electrostatics.

I am moving a wheel with 15kg mass with rad/s of 2.5 -> 3. Don't know what speed that is in rounds/sec. Momentum is 4 -> 5,5kg-m/s. And it runs until the program has internal error everytime.
If not pushed to start, it picks up speed slowly from 0.

It has to be something wrong. It can't be this simple.. 3 wheels, 6 magnets..

This is bad.. I have been looking at the same screen for 11 hours now..

why can't it be that simple? I think everyone is getting a little too complicated with these devices...if a simple design works, that just means that it should be scalable to a larger size...which is what we desperatly need. Please post some updated designs or something for us to really chew on...or shoot holes into (constructively of course :) ) Pictures are nice, but some in-depth descriptions would be helpful. who knows, you might just be on to something!

Okay.. here it is. I tried to produce it today. And of cource it did not work :) The program "Working Model" has no friction in the "Pin joint" I think. That has to be the error. My new ball bearings has much more friction than 0. I also believe that they haven't been able to reproduce magnets either. The fluxfield is strange. It seems that the fluxfield is not logaritmic or something.

I used plexiglass as wheel and pendulum for my model today. 5 equal magnets 40x25x8mm faced to repel each other. I don't know how much charge those magnets has.
The wheel has 200mm diameter, the pendulum is 100x200mm with counterweight (dark blue).

I am not able to reproduce real life appearance with same specs in Working Model.

As I am writing, I opened a new sheet in Working Model. I put 2 circles on the sheet. One is radius 0.25m and weight 1kg. The other 0.13m diameter and weight 5kg. Charge is set to 0 on both. Then I put 2 magnets on left wheel and one on right wheel. Charge i set to 1.000e-007 on these magnets. Then go to 'World' and 'Electrostatics' and enable it. No other adjustments.
Then I click Run.

I will post a picture of this sheet when the program stops by internal error or has stopped...  :)

The reason for the idea was one wheel in balance, and one wheel that is overbalanced. That wheel will always seek to equlibrium. On its way against the wheel that is in balance, the balanced wheel has to move because of the magnets.  Sometimes the overbalanced wheel push the balanced wheel an picks up speed, and somtimes the balanced wheels magnets will push the unbalanced wheel to pick up speed.. and therefore never be stopped..  The balanced wheel will continue to move until it is intefered with the magnet from the unbalanced wheel. If the balanced wheel goes slower, then the unbalanced wheel will speed up and vice versa.

But thats in Working Model :) What am I doing wrong?

In theory I am using gravity and permanent magnets to move these wheels. The energy stored in magnets and the energy stored in gravity should make this work..

But in reality?
