One fixed wheel is ever in "balance" !
There will be ever the need of an revolving "unbalanced-balance" wheel system !
FR2543226,Bernard Chartier, is a good example !

Really, any one wheel configuration(the equivalent is an unequal lever or pendulum) never becomes self turning...we need a "help" wheel. So,a two wheel system. Some interpretations you can find at:  http://www.inter-corporate.com/forums/fieldpropulsion.engineering.html  #239   .Best Regards!/Alex
