Funny thing about this, they have been saying we have reached the peak for years. However production keeps going up. There are two ways to make the production of oil go down. The demand for oil go down, which won't happen soon(2-3year time frame), or supply for oil dry up, won't happen either becuase they keep finding more in other countries. Please keep encouraging the oil companies to raise panic by posting there rubish though.

Whatever ::).. it is a fact that there is only a limited supply.. this is just a new calculated prediction and is not by the oil companies. If the oil companies sent this out the car companies would be working harder to find alternative fuels and the oil companies don't want that.

I regularly see ads for natural gas production on cable TV. Probably paid for by oil companies, yes?

I guess you guys are right.. but it doesn't make it an invalid study.
The scientists from Kuwait University and the Kuwait Oil Company adopted a newer approach by including many Hubbert production cycles.

Peak oil = 1983
Production can go up simply by pumping more sea water into the well.

speaking of 83, the most e-fish-ent car was built just bout then, how far have we come? not very. why use sea water when we can simply sprinkle magic pixie dust over everything.
