Long charge-short discharge...
« on: March 12, 2010, 05:55:17 PM »

...of power,is the time evolution of the common natural energetic processes (rain,lightning...).

This is also,a known "tempo",that we use in electricity and electronics.

Maybe,we must introduce this "time-design",as a main topic of this forum...

           All the best! / Alex

.....can be considered as a cyclic evolution of a high resistive load (charging, storing energy),followed by a low resistive load (discharging energy as that of a "shortcircuit").

We start with a small unbalance.

If we set it free,in a gravitational fall ("accelerator","movement amplifier" frame...),it develops into a greater and greater unbalance.

        This increasing instability,is coiled up,accumulated by a counterpart increasing load (flywheel,rotational inertia)'s a long charge,a high-resistive time-sequence.

The next sequence is a minimal one :a short discharge on a small resistive load (to remake the starting small unbalance ) that of an inductor's sparkle.
