Title: V-Gate past sticky spot?
Post by: Blainiac on March 11, 2010, 09:39:15 AM
This is a variation of Butch LaFonte's Pseudo Solid Rotor design.  I don't have the funds to try that set up, so I thought of this simpler design to test if a ball's momentum gain down the V-Gate is enough to push the furthest one out of the sticky spot.

Just a suggestion if someone wanted to try this simpler version.   ;D

I'm positive there is a way for a self runner.. the problem is no torque.

Oh but there is. The torque would be based on the length of the unequal fields.  ;)
