Hi all!

Good news - if they are for real:

Perendev will be launching it's new Em motor in May 2006

I think Perendev are being a bit sneaky, or the people who put that on the web where missinformed ;)

What makes you think so?

Their advertising it as an EM motor instead of an all magnet motor? ???.

I asked today Mike Brady if, despite callimg the motor "Electro magnetic", it actually is an all magnet self-sustaining motor and he replied that, yes, the motor is completely self-sustaining.

Cool, good to know. Thanks for that Omnibus  :)

Perendev electromagnetic motor generator announcement article.  It sounds like an electromagnetic motor that starts on battery and then when the generator starts, it is then self running.

Here is the web site that has the article:  http://pesn.com/2006/03/22/9600252_Perendev_electromagnetic_motor/ (http://pesn.com/2006/03/22/9600252_Perendev_electromagnetic_motor/)

The article you?re citing is written by Sterling D. Allan. However, I?m finding out that Sterling D. Allan is an unreliable source of information. Of what I?ve read on the web he is some kind of disgruntled customer of Brady?s motor who has tried to present himself as his associate which he is not. Once turned down by Brady he has tried unsuccessfully to replicate Brady?s motor and the lack of success has left him obviously very bitter. Thus, later, he?s been  attacking Brady in a devious way by turning himself into a reporter for the device, following its every step, sounding objective but dropping here and there, as if by chance, subtle criticism. Indeed, from the very beginning of this particular text one meets the completely uncalled-for characterization of Brady as belonging to some imagined by Sterling D. Allan ?fringe world of free energy?. This subtle attack continues by creating the impression that Brady?s motor, although probably something worthwhile, is not a self-sustaining device. This is the important impression which Stering D. Allan aims to create despite covering himself by saying in passing that ?once running it provides enough energy to run under its own power?.

I have not seen the motor, don?t know whether it works or not as a self-sustaining device and cannot by any means be considered as an advocate of Brady and his motor. However, before Brady presents his invention it is best that critics such as Sterling D. Allan restrain from reporting about the device in view of the negative burden they already have due to their unsuccessful attempts to associate themselves with Brady.

Perhaps skepticism is a healthy thing about a device until a reason or proof is given to solidly believe that the device actually performs at least close to what is claimed. Perhaps the 'reputable test company' could release the test results now for this audience to see??  It seems that many 'claims'  in the free energy area seem to never materialize due to over optimistic euphoria (which is understandable from an inventor) before the actual proof is there for all to see...  I certainly hope that we can all buy an electro-magnetic motor (with magnets in the motor) and couple it to a generator or alternator and have it perform over unity!  Sounds great to me.  Looking forward to the analysis of the test results and a new power source for cars and houses.

Healthy skepticism is a good thing, of course. It is in abundance, however, and shouldn?t be a matter of concern. Besides, I wouldn?t call healthy the skepticism of someone who has an ax to grind.

Also, a good thing about a working self-sustaining device is that you don?t need a ?reputable company? or someone in authority to tell you it?s viable. Let, say, Wesley Snyder place his device on a table, suspended on a stand to have it rotate without anyone holding it and show us a video of it. That?ll do.

The new article at pesn is also contains a source part at the end, and says: "Email correspondence with Mike Brady, March 21,22, 2006."
Do you think that isn't true, Omnibus? And Sterling D. Allan cooked up the details? It is a bit too bizzare for me to be the truth.
If it is really an all permanent magnet motor, why Mike Brady named it an "EM motor"?
Can someone ask Mike Brady, and find out what's about his new motor? It is an all magnetic motor, or also has electromagnetic parts? Really has a battery, or not?

Is anyone of you going to this event in May?
Maybe there are some people in this forum who live in or close to Munich.

Maybe I will go, if he really will show a permanent magnet only motor.
If he will show a battery helped powered device and
one can not measure oneself, then 100 Euros entrance is pretty much.
But I will probably know a few other people from
over here who will go and have a look.
They will report then back.

Regards, Stefan.

There must be a clear explanation what will be shown at the May launch. More specifically it has to be clearly explained in advance exactly how the self-sustainment of the motor will be demonstrated at that launch.

I?d be very suspicious if these procedures are to be revealed only during the launch with no advance notice as to what exactly?s gonna be shown there.

Yes, if this is the case,I will not go...this is then much too expensive...

Sterling D. Allan writes in his article (http://pesn.com/2006/03/22/9600252_Perendev_electromagnetic_motor/):
"The battery will be recharged from the alternator while the unit is running."

So it doesn't seem to be a self-sustaining motor...
But after the launch we all know more.
I hope the best for Brady and his team.

Hans

Perendev delays his launch event "due to the soccer world cup" to July 7th.
