Forum editor has problem
« on: January 18, 2010, 12:59:48 PM »
I am not sure where to post this, but I guess it qualifies as news. For several days I have been having problems posting. The editor will replace words with a capital "A" when it posts to forum. Sometimes even groups of words. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, I can second that observation too.

Not only from my own posts,
but I have had to take a wild guess on words
to replace the "A" with when quoting people.

I even mentioned it in the thread
that I corrected another poster's quote
to be fair to that poster.
(In case I guessed wrong)

For over a week I've been getting this a lot too.

"Connection Problems"
"Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database."
"This may be caused by the server being busy."
"Please try again later."

It seems to have started barely over a week ago or so.

Yeah, I agree.

I had a heck of a time with yet another post.

Every instance of "Vid"
was renamed as "A".
