Rocking Generator

This basically applying electromagnets to like poles of a magnet. Should rock the pole backwards with a like charge. The rocking motion is extend by placing arms off the back of the magnet then other magnets are oscillated though the inside of a coil to create current.

@davidtemp

Hi,  maybe you would wish to use both ends of your electromagnet coils somehow, because now they are wasting their outer poles? (A U-shaped core for the coils?)
Your setup would surely work as you imagine, question is whether you expect a better than normal operation?

What if you use toroidal cores instead of the solenoid like electromagnets and bring the toroid cores into saturation by your input current, this way the core can alternately 'disappear' from the permanent magnets, making the rocking movement? just stealing from Steorn  ;)

Is this an idea or you already tested it in practice?

At this stage it just an idea, trying to keep it as simple as possible. I see a possibility of output energy greater than the input. I have looked over a great many OU devices and common points stand out. Pulsing current, capture of back EMF, current flow in two directions, some type of resonance. This device seems capable of providing many of those items with bonus of very little friction in the way of moving parts.
