Idee zum Bau eines elektrostatischen Monopolmotors

Idea to build an electrostatic motor that uses only one electric pole

Die Elektrode einer Hochspannungsquelle l?dt ?ber einen Schleifkontakt ein metallisches Segment auf einer isolierenden, drehbaren Scheibe auf.

The electrode of a high voltage source is loading the metallic segment on an isolated, rotating disc.

Durch die Absto?ungskraft gleichnamiger Ladungen wird die Scheibe in Drehung versetzt.
Auf der gegen?ber liegenden Seite ber?hrt das geladene Segment einen anderen
Schleifkontakt. Dieser ist mit dem Inneren des, den ganzen Aufbau umgebenden,
metallischen Bechers verbunden.

The repulsion of the like electric fields forces the disc to rotate.
On the other side the segment touches a sliding contact, which is connected
to the cup ( Faraday ), that encompasses the whole disc.

Die Ladung des Segmentes kann nun auf die Au?enh?lle des Bechers abflie?en,
von wo aus diese in einem externen Vorgang nutzbar gemacht werden kann.

The electrostatic charge of the segment flows to the outer surface of the cup
where it can be used in an external process.

Wenn die Annahme zutrifft, wonach ein Ladungstr?ger der einen sogenannten
Faradaybecher von Innen her ber?hrt, sich vollkommen, oder zumindest zu einem gro?en Teil entl?dt,
k?nnte sich die Scheibe aufgrund Ihres zuvor erhaltenen Drehmomentes,
wieder zu Ihrem Ausgangspunkt zur?ckdrehen, um sich dort von neuem aufzuladen.

Now, the segment is discharged and can return to the starting point.
Of course, the torque of the disc has to be big enough to achieve this.

Die Zuleitung zur Elektrode sollte dabei durch ein Metallgitter abgeschirmt werden,
damit der zunehmend geladene Becher der eindringenden Ladung nicht entgegensteht

Maybe the supply for the electrode should be shielded,
because the cup has the same charge.


Der oben erw?hnte Versuch ist dem Funktionsprinzip eines elektrostatischen Scheibenl?ufers entlehnt,
wie er auf den Seiten von dargestellt wird.


The above mentioned thougt experiment is based on a concept I found on the pages of

Da ich weit davon entfernt bin Ahnung von Elektrotechnik zu haben,
ist mir nicht klar ob, und inwiefern ich bei diesem Vorgang ?berhaupt Energie verbrauche,
da die Ladung, die hier Arbeit verichtet danach erneut verwendet werden kann.


I don't know much about electrical engineering, therefore I do not understand how
this process consumes energy, when the charge, that performed work, can be used again afterwards.

? ? ? ?I'm not too sure what your question really is but If you were wondering if you could recycle the energy used and keep the device going forever or long periods of time then the answer would be no, at least not through conventional means. This would not run forever. However, the idea of making a motor of this form is sound, but would not produce very large torques as the area on the disk that carries the charge from the charging brush to the discharge brush are much too small and to few in between. You would be better off too, run a motor off of the device that you are producing the high voltage with and convert it into magnetism instead of a high voltage charge to produce powefull angular momentum. If you are incorporating Bruce Depalmas technologys, then why would you bother with the electrostatic part! Good luck!
