I don't think this would be a good cap charger as i would not be able to watch any TV  nor any one else in a 500 feet  area ;)

Hi Jonny . It was ahazen coil design if i remember right . remember when hazens was winding all those pretty coils and getting hv from them . Here is the torroid i used and also i used a darlington  and a little ferrite tuning slug . can't remember where i posted how to make it in the JT thread  but it was around the date of My schematic drawing ..

:D You are the ultimate mad scientist!! lol here and there and everywhere i do believe in your work, which is remarkable I wish i could replicate some of it, but right now I'm away from home and can't do it, i'm using you as guide to replicate some of this tesla effects later on though, but a thing I don't understand is ok hom many amps a AAA battery has? about 6? that's powerful in comparison with and earth battery which is in the milliamp range , so correct me if I'm wrong but we can't get such hv EVER from and earth battery, see I've managed to keep my led's on for 2 years directly no supercaps but using the joule thief, and 2 big ass rods of 4feet and 2" diameter, then again I only get 2, 3v leds on but can't get that neon tube going nor a motor or a 100 watt lightbulb..Am I missing something here?
Cheers
