I think some spare/retired C-5 Galaxy class Jets would do nicely if the Military was used as a mandatory fire emergency squad. they would have to be modified a bit but they could do the trick.
maybe putting in the suggestion directly to congress would have more power in getting the acceptance.
how many of you actually write to your Mayor, Governor, Congress, President? I don't mean nasty letters either, I mean nice and professional friendly letters stating facts of why it is a very potential idea or theory.
they are human just like the rest of us and they need a friend just like anybody else, Bad letters are always ignored and usually never get past the secretary and are basically trashed.
remember, it has to be nice and professional just to get past the secretary or they will never see it. make sure your grammar is correct and write with an intelligent manner, always avoid bad language and how things are spoken. always apply researched facts and never guess in your letters.
they are very professional people.
I have met Arnold Schwarzenegger, he is a very nice gentleman but he is human just like the rest of us. it is better to be friends with him than a thorn in his side. thorns always get plucked out and discarded. friends do not.

Its hard to believe he is not aware of this option...wild fires are common occurrences in his job.
Where are the fleet of water bombers at the ready, for just these events ??
They certainly have no shortage aircraft built for carrying military tonnes of armaments.
As much as I don't want to believe it, I'm afraid at this point a letter would only reveal that you are on to the game...and earn you a 'red' internment classification.
That smirk on all their faces seems to indicate they think they are home free...and that bothers me somewhat.
I just hope that they are betrayed causing their plan to backfire before things get too bad.

sometimes it takes teams of friends and coworkers to solve a problem, he is just one man, one man can only do so many things by himself, imagine how many of your ideas could become reality by actually becoming a friend to the Governor himself.

Don't forget...he is as aware of the lies that underpinned the Iraq invasion...and of the nano-thermite found in NYC.
He is silent on those issues also.
