« on: November 05, 2009, 10:42:17 PM »
Hi,

Can the new forum allow me to block someone from sending me PM's?

Thanks,
Paul

Go to Personal Messages, choose "Manage Rules" from the left hand side menu there then click "Add New Rule".

In the new page give the rule a name (senders OU name?), choose criteria of "Sender Name" and in Actions choose the "Delete Message" option.

It doesn't block the message, but it might as well since you'll probably never see the message delivered.

I have NOT tested this for effectiveness.

Easier:

Go to your profile/modify profile/personal messaging, then type in "WilbyInebriated" (without quotes) in the ignore list.

Done. It works.
