Title: How to build a 36vdc 2.5kw generator unit
Post by: Tommey Reed on August 04, 2009, 04:09:38 PM
Have a bad gas engine on your generator, replace it with a dc motor.
This is a basic design using 36v battery pack to generate over 2.5kw at 10-50 amps.

a complete solar charge is added too, a must see video.
Stop the power companies with higher energy bills!

The other video's show a 10kw dc system too.

hi tommey great work with your dc motor, saw your detailed videos also, they were good.
i would like to suggest you i thing that there is a thread at energetic forum by the name of COP 17 Heater | Rosemary Ainslie http://www.energeticforum.com/renewable-energy/4314-cop-17-heater-rosemary-ainslie.html#post55875 there they are using pwm with an inductor and a shunt to produce heat with cop of 17 or>.(there is also a thread here at ou.com which is saying its not true) anyway there at energetic forum they are just waiting for the right equipments to arrive to do the testing.

the whole purpose of my writing this post is that you have all the equipments with you so.
1. you can replicate that setup very easily and check the results.
2. most important thing is that since they are using pulsed dc with 555 pwm and getting these gains it could be possible to apply that principle to your dc motor to raise its cop.
note . if reading that post read no more than last 10 pages and don't use an mosfet which is avalanche proof.
bye
