tetrahedral-shaped coils

Anyone here experimented with tetrahedral-shaped coils?

You can find construction instructions here:

The magtet has almost disappeared from the Internet. The only place I could find it is:
    http://web.archive.org/web/20060429021923/http://users.techline.com:80/palfac/MobiusInsight_html/magtet/tet.htm/mag.htm/build_magtet.htm

What prompted my renewed interest is that the the "Quantum Gravity Research" group
    http://www.quantumgravityresearch.org/
has come up with a the "Emergence Theory" where the basic building blocks of our 3D reality is based on tetrahedrons whose sides are the size of the Planck constant.

I wonder if the weird effects that you get when you use a magtet (an electromagnetic tetrahedron) could be proof that their theory has some basis in reality?
