Look for resonant rise.
That man is a genius.
He sure remembered his earthquake machine lol.

We should not forget the 50Hz ground current.

Replace the positively charged rod with a (positive) high voltage source. Replace the electroscope's sphere with a hollow one (e.g. a tin can). Put the high voltage source inside instead outside of it. Switch the high voltage on and off (modulating its coil) with a frequency of 50Hz by connecting it indirectly to the coil of the resonant 50Hz LC circuit.

If nothing unusual happens then at least we have a simple way to keep resonance between two coils. :D

I can see that you are coming round to the realisation that the 'bearded man' has an important part to play in the functioning of TK's 'Green Box' device.  ;D

Afternoon Hoppy.

I sense the "Silly Season" is upon us... ;D ;D ;D

Cheers Grum.

The series/parallel will function as a band-pass filter.

Evening Grum,

LOL. He could of at least added a bit of tinsel to his artwork. ;D ;D

Dear Thay.

Well I thought it would have some use !! You know the old saying?? A little knowledge can be dangerous  :)   Maybe Zeitmaschine already knew that!!

Cheers Grum.

Dangerous to whom? ???

LOL. He could of at least added a bit of tinsel to his artwork. ;D ;D

And then we name it »the electroscopic power machine with tinsel«.

If it works ...

We should not forget the 50Hz ground current.

It seems as if we do not need current from the ground  ;)

Dear Zeitmaschine.

Just more silly banter !! I was of course referring to myself !! I do not have a great knowledge of electronics, in my earlier career the switches I played with were the size of a small  family car!!

Cheers Grum.

P.S.: Will see how quickly this subject gets buried here by totally unrelated stuff. ;D 8)

ya? then take this... :phttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oo_mP18IXMo  (it's a water vortex electric generator)

Actually I got that link reference off of the tinsel rope making video....

But let us consider, 10kw Generator.... (diamter is 6m, doesn't matter)
Drop is 1.5m or 4.92ft
Flow is 1.2 m^3/sec   1200 LPS, 72000LPM 19020.23GPM

so for 19020GPM (8.33 lb/G) 158436.6 lb/min

and that for 5ft is 792183 foot-lb/min (hp)
745.7 hp = 1W... so...

1062.334719055920611505967547271W

So; that's an intersting thing, to put the water that went through the generator back to the top is only 1Kw....

The problem then is finding a pump (or pumps) that will generate 72000LPM.

I found a site here. http://www.lmpprecision.com/turbinepumps.html
they have a pump that is 22000-36000LPM, for only 251 hP, and a head of 24m.... so there's no reason that 12 generators couldn't be stacked.... (1.5m drop; give 0.5m gap... )
have to run 2-3 of those pumps though...

Scary math.

so 120kW generator self contained in a 8mx8mx24m package :)
