Yes, that's where I realized difference between killing generator directly or short-circuiting low power mains transformer.

Why did you reply to Mannix but did not reply to my question in earlier msg 8673?
What is the difference you observed?

Going to swap transformer into generator and see myself the difference if there is any. We need to eliminate any variables what might be on this point.

Testing testing testing.

Everybody might want to check their ferrites for dc resistance .

My new ones (in my tests) have none ..yet a very old one that is too small to use  has about 1 meg per millimetre  ...as do all of my flyback transformer cores.

It would be sad to not have this basic info from the guys with "working" yokes
@T1000 Are you using electron tubes in your circuits?

None except HV diodes for the first experiment.

In our experiment we used low power transformer for 50Hz instead of generator...

Where was the primary winding of this transformer connected ?

Stivep (wesley) stop foolish people! It is Tiger device with Yoki of USSR TV set that he build since 22 Jan 2011/ You and others from your band in that time dosnt even dreams about this device! There is pics from video from Russian forums where Tiger (Kazakstan) did show his device.
A have attached a schematics of this device which Tiger send me yesterday. People - use this instead of othres not relieble "replicators of Tiger devices". I should repead ones more - this is NOT REPLICANT OF TARIEL KAPANADZE!!!!!
Name of this Devices - Reactor #2 from Tiger 22_01_2011/

God Bless Tiger!
PS I can easyly prove that device with Tv yoki is  Tigers device and his name is not Aidal from Lithuania! I am able to prove that he first time published video and schematic since 22 Jan 2011/ Easy speaks - Tiger is inventor of this device!

If you look closer, he used single blocking generator with HV discharge in combination and our device use 2 generators for input plus HV discharge in full configuration.

Again, seems you are deaf to the fact that Tiger is the part of our team .. ;)

A have attached a schematics of this device which Tiger send me yesterday.

Below please find the translation of Russian phrases on Tiger's schematic diagram (in the order of left->right and then top->bottom):

"LF waveform without HF should be a clean sine wave"

"All on one core. The HF winding back-to-back on opposite ends of the core."

"Short on negative half-wave"

"HF 10-20 times higher than LF"

"дросселъ" = Choke
"искра" = Spark

@T-1000
Why do you keep ignoring my simple questions?
Msg. 8680: "Where was the primary winding of this transformer connected ?"

I have written proves that your @band@ that called itselv as a "team" did  try to avoid this fact that Tiger is in yout "Team" in internet!

@ALL
I think I see another diffence between Aidas/Arunas/Wesley's (AAW) configuration and Tiger's.

Namely, Tiger's configuration seems to use the bilfilar coil connected in bucking mode (back-to-back serial opposing) and AAW's configuration seems to use the bilfilar coil connected in serial reinforcing mode.

The Russian phrase on Tiger's diagram
"All on one core. The HF winding back-to-back on opposite ends of the core.""
and the dots denoting the directions of the bifilar windings on the schematic, seem to imply the above.

Correct, Tiger's device do not operate on preconditioning magnetic nuclear polarization with high frequency encapsulated in low frequency signal. It has opposite way - HV sharp peaks on single sine wave.

This is why your questions about Tiger's device get ignored - to avoid confusion between different devices.

...however I never intended to ask you about Tiger's device.

You mentioned the low power transformer yourself, and you explicitly stated that you used this transformer in YOUR experiments, thus it must have been related to your device.

In our experiment we used low power transformer for 50Hz instead of generator

Hence, any question about this transformer was related to your device and not Tiger's.
Despite that, my question was ignored...

Sorry for confusion :)

The mains transformer used was 50Hz 220V AC with output 9V 0.75A.

@philm
Please measure the capacitance of your 2 copper strips when they are not connected together.

I would be more then happy to measure the capacitance of the cooper strips; however, I already put it together and I am now unable to.

But, there is some good news. I still have yet to put the secondary windings on my other half of the yoke. So, I can easily make another copper strip on the CNC machine and measure the capacitance when they are not connected.

If I remember to do this, which I should be able to since I too am wondering what the capacitance is, then I will measure the capacitance of the copper strip before I start winding the secondary (and I will post some pictures of measurements of the yoke, also)

Before I forget,

@T-1000 and/or @Wesley

When the device was running, was the device cool or cold to the touch?
