All that has been previously covered by me in great detail.

Please "READ" everything first before making coments.

Better yet --- Break loose of some time and cash and construct the device. Then you can first hand actually see and feel the runner magnets pass swiftly through the stator Tri gates.  You can acually see that in the video if you look real hard.

Sure -- This device right now is greatly underpowered as I already explained in great detail.   If I had a fast moving "self runner" I would be listing it as a HOLY GRAIL FOUND.  I think its a step in the right direction and in the ballpark.

Check this video out.

Hi,

Would you mind making another short video when you hold the rotor stationary by your hand and then you let the rotor off entering the gate and we can see it accelerating to its final speed?

Thanks,  Gyula

I will do that but I am going on a short vacation.

Sometime next week I will make that video.

I cannot see any reason why this tregate is adding energy into the system. The magnets and the steel balls are not something out of the ordinary. The only way you can make this wheel accelerating is to reverse the video, but that is ofcourse not an option. Looking forward to see the final working result after the vacation.

Hi Vidar,

Here is a collection of videos on the tri gate arrays:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnMSSz7W8YU

It does not readily turn out but there is a sticky point in front of the entrance to the gate, just a few centimeter earlier. If the user would push the roller (i.e. the rotor) by hand towards the entrance of the gate he would see it slowing down first (and if the roller's initial energy is not enough to brake through the sticky point, it would stop just a few cm in front of the entry point).

This is why I asked magnetman to show this situation in another video because from his video shown in his first letter this critical point cannot be seen.

If you study thoroughly the video collection I am referring to, you can see some modifications to the tri gate entrance from video time 0:45 and onwards:  the three-three steelballs are used to reduce the sticky point at the entrance to the gate. (Later in the video there are other small modifications shown at the entry points.)
I do not know how successful this entry-repel reducement can be but in case the roller is able to receive enough acceleration (kicking out) when leaving the gate and it is just enough to defeat any remaining/reduced repel force at the entry area of the next gate, then the roller can continue rolling (as you can see later on in the video and in another video Clanzer showed last year such a tri gate array of a meter or so long in which the roller went through by accelerating on leaving and slowing down at entering the gate).

Of course this is true for a linear array and in case of a circular setup things can surely be much different.  One thing we can see in magnetman video is that in his setup  both two back ball members of his gate are tilted down from the plane of the rotor disk and maybe this in itself is already able to reduce the entry sticky points.  This is what I hope... :)

Hopefully magnetman will make a new video after his vacation with respect to my asking.

Hi,

I am going on vacation tomorrow -will do the movie later.    The below link by Clanzer inspired me to build the Tri gate setup I have shown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2pNehGPWvw&feature=related

If 33 linear gates can be cleared with a finger lift thats proof enough for me that magnetic energy can be harnesed.  Now all we have to do is somehow arrange magnets to maximize  power in a rotary fashion.  What I have shown is real weak but I think its a step in the right direction. You must use a very low friction bearing and a perfectly level surface to see if you are acually doing work with the magnets.  The real trick is to make a wide neutral spot in the stator so we have an area that devides the pull from the push.  The inertia of the flywheel also helps do both however if its to heavy it hinders.  Everything is a real juggling act.

I have tried and failed with the trigate, but yours is the best I've seen so far.. keep up the great work!

If you could make this video available world wide, so I could see it? I just got the message "This video is not available for your country"

Hi All,

I was going to make a movie but whats the sense just to see it slow down and eventually stop.

I just posted new info in the Overunity uk group that look real promising. Check out my LATEST posting there.

The basic idea acually works for me.  I experimented with it quite a bit.  As far as I know it has never been tryed before as it involves movement only using the magnetic flux in a IRON rod..

Worth looking into.  Real inexpensive to try out.
