UPDATE: Testing the Perreault Valves
« on: January 26, 2006, 06:34:35 PM »
Hello all,

http://www.intalek.com/Index/Projects/SmartPAK_xPOD/SmartPAK_xPOD.htm

Figure 6 shows a variety of valves I've been testing out on my Wimshurst generator. Its interesting to note that the my largest 2" dia. valve displays the greatest effect. The valves shown range in size from 1/2" dia. up to 2" dia. The capacitance of the 1/2" dia. valve is about 5.2pf.

Is it really easy to manufacter this Perreault Valves?
Steel pipe, tungsten rod, some isolator is it enough to produce P.Valve?
And what is the name of gaz uses in Valve?

Dimasen,

A 7" long 3/32" dia. pure tungsten welding rod costs about $2.50 ea.

A 4" long 2" dia. steel pipe, pvc pipe fitting, clamp costs about $10.00.

In other words, it costs under $15.00 to build a "complete" Perreault Valve!

Great work!

It will be good to make your p-valves experiments data available to public. As I understand the excess energy produced by discharge inside valve comes from e-avalanche effect. So what kind of gas exists there, air ? It should produce a lot of ozone during discharges I think. Does tungsten rod get consumed on the long run ? Also 2" dia pipe requires the maximum voltage to initiate discharge along with the increased distance between pipe and rod, so its obvious that your 2 inch valve will show the best energy kickback (more air molecules ionized).

Please if possible post the data measured from experimets, like Ein, Eout, etc.

Thanks!

All, try also with copper pipe and graphite rod inside the copper pipe.
The Newman machine did work best with these materials and had the maximum
back current pulses only with this material combination.
Although they did not try many other combinations..

Stefan, Is the graphite rod diameter plays important role?
And, what gaz I must use in pipe?

have not tested the dependance from rod diameter, but I guess the more graphite the better,
cause it will contain more radioactive isotopes, which radiate more when struck with a high voltage pulse.
Air as the gas is just fine, but a Russian researcher (Chernetsky )used H2 at
about 0.5 Tor pressure and got
5 x overunity results.
Have a look here:

Couldn't you also use a electrolyte instead of the gas? I think the key is to have many ions between two different kinds of metall or metall and graphite. It's the principle of many free enegy devices. H2 is maybe good as gas because it's very easy to ionize. But an electrolyte has a higher density of ions and you don't have to create them first with high voltage. Maybe you have to use a lower voltage to pulse such a electrolyt cell. And you have to find the right frequency to trigger it.

I don't think a vacuum would work. So yes, a gas would be required.

Hi!

Unfortunately the first link is not work...   I would like some informations about the valves. I posted my first experiment with it to a Moray devices topic

Hello all,

I'll be covering these valves in my presentation at the upcoming Tesla Tech 2006 show.
