That's a jest that an Atheist would make to make a point. His point is well taken,by me anyway, in that some of us feel that although we should have the wisdom to listen to the prophets warnings,we should not lie in wait for the destruction to come upon us...we should at least try for peace. There is nothing so unusual about someone referring to Satan in this way.The Bible attributes all things to the hand of God and not quite so many to the hand of man, woman and the angels. We are accountable after all for our actions within the framework of our abode.Look around,God has given us dominion over the Earth and since we do not seize it,it is taken over from us....and then who is left?It is very logical that if man doesn't take care of this business that someone or something will have to.

And the world died because not one soul would lift a hand to preserve it. An so Mars today is a dead planet. Most of the water depleted by the very people who accused the purveyor of water for fuel as Satan. And you had to move to the Earth as a result and take up the same theme about water as fuel here. Well, one may ask where to next? Kinda between a rock and a future rock it would seem. Just keep talking about all the things one can do to preserve the earth and doing nothing but talk. The choice is yours.....shut up and do something beside bullshit. Take part in doing something usefull and less time with bullshit. How many have built a commercially viable engine? Why are we still using rockets? Could we move on to other worlds if the need presented itself? Did we just go there boldly where no man has gone in imagination only? If one where to weigh the bullshit in one hand against the starships on the other......well......we would be in deep shit and only we are to blame and not one who tried to help with water for fuel. I am not advocating the devil's method but if there is another lets see it in action doing the job everybody needs to preserve a planet to live on.

I would agree with Christo in this case, it was only a literary artifice to make a joke/point about Pat Robertson.

Also, i think it's important to understand that this World Federalist group that Cronkite is in, is not the same as the "New World Order" gang. The Federalists want a world government, but they believe it should be democratic and based on Rule of Law... And not an oligarchy of only the corporate elite that ends up being a new form of Feudalism lol. Actually, it does make some sense, but the world is certainly not ready for it, and i wonder how we could keep such a thing from getting away from us, and it turning totalitarian.

But still, there is a big difference in motive ;)

Given the forum and the occasion for such "Humor," disrespect for all the parties either Pat Robertson or Satan are not welcomed from this quarter. The Qwerty keyboard provides glib remarks from those that are unable to provide solutions. Such disrespect is a dangerous thing to show. "Free Energy" does not mean one need not deliver solutions but indeed needs to provide solutions and having found them provide them freely. Otherwise there is no "Free Energy". Conservation of energy having thus been preserved and offered freely to others is not something to be taken litely. Walter Cronkite is a man that should be cognisant that respect for ones piers is the basis for the rule of law whether it is Satan or Pat Robertson........having made this lapse in judgement of his piers is an indication the man needs to step down and yield to more sound judgement. Walter is clearly full of himself on this occasion and literary artifice does not become the image he has sought to create in his long and celebrated career.

Demonstrating the inability to provide the rule of law he seeks and at the same time casting doubt on the ability of his piers to do so is, either in jest or blame, is a way of lowering his own position to those he considers incompetent to achieve world wide rule of law. The remark is unbecoming for a man of his stature.

are you implying that the process of burning hydrogen depletes the water?if you are i suggest you look into it a little further before you form an opinion.

I am saying it is a natural process. Further, hydrogen is the most plentiful element. Depleting it seems  out of the question. However, the arrangement of hydrogen atoms in reformed molecules follows conservation of energy laws of physics and the conversion of water molecules to forms of usable energy changes the state of some hydrogen atoms. Take a look at Low Energy Nuclear Reaction in electrostatic initiated salt water fusion.  <http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2928435.stm> Note: D2O is referenced in this article. But then, why not lite sea water in an emulsion of non conductive oil? An that is what drives the LENR in the Clem Engine model. All of this will be kicked about for a long time due to the fact no private development funding is available and competing energy will persist until the Earth becomes a lifeless rock with an acidic hot brown atmosphere. So much for inventive genius! Never mind what happened to Mars and it's sea water. And never mind who sits on their bum next to Satan doing nothing but putting "The pedal to the Metal". How much coal did they burn to power my laptop? It is so much easier to go with the flow. Next time you step on the gas take a good look at the one next to you at the left.
