I'm not so much interested in the Heat→Sound part as I am the Sound→Electricity.

Does anyone know where there is more info about Sound→Electricity?

This is a relatively simple idea - you just use a speaker.  and sound hitting the speaker will cause it to generate electricity - it will act like a microphone.
