If you use a 12v battery and each phase places say 5v across the load could we exceed the battery voltage by adding phases.

I dont have the skills it would take to run the gates on a three phase buckboost.
There are a few here that do.

Ive made these circuits on Circuit sim. I will have to find that code or just remake it if anyone is interested. What ever is used from the source ends up being what we get out minus losses. A single coil and transistor can do just about the same at 4 times the freq and the right parts, and probably at the same or better eff. The thoughts that I had on it when I was drawing the circuit was that there would be no off time to the output if the timing were right. But it still is not more than in for any reason.

Unless there is some 'special' way to make the circuit put out more, then this isnt it. Sorry.

Hi Erfinder,
What Lester Hendershot  did with one of his early designs was to

Take a thin metal plate and pivot it between 2 equal strength Nth Sth permanent magnetic poles.
He wound the thin plate with fine wire like Litz wire and connected it to an aerial.

Weak signals coming down the aerial wire mixed (heterodyned in some manner) to produce difference frequencies in the audio range.
These audio signals were low enough in frequency to pass through the Litz wire coil.
Causing the plate to become an electromagnet attracting it alternately toward one magnet face and then the other.

The original minute change of aerial signal flux on the plate was greatly amplified by the electromagnetic plate physically approaching either magnet's pole face.

I guess it could be termed a "tipping threshold or avalanche" effect much like onset of negative resistance in a spark gap and other phenomena with tipping points.

The extra energy was supplied by nature in each magnets flux density as it didn't need to be supplied by external current or voltage sources.

It was all just theoretical anyway  :)

Please forgive my bluntness,  all I see going on here are ideas being thrown around regarding how to amplify one's idea of power....not a single idea has been presented which leads one to the "amplification of energy".

Can someone please present something general regarding amplifying energy, what it means and the most straight forward method for accomplishing it.  Please keep your schematics to yourself, I have no interest in them nor use for them.
Regards

Build a transformer core in the form of a trumpet. Wind the primary around the mouthpiece. Wind the secondary around the horn. Now pulse. The core "should" amplify that pulse by the time it arrives at the secondary.

But the problem is this, each core lamination has to start thin and end thicker.

See the three drawings I posted on this forum long ago and have them here;

http://purco.qc.ca/ftp/Wattsups'%20stuff/triangular%20laminated%20core/

Is that straight forward enough?

Premise: If a linear laminate core like we use today can produce a 1:1 isolated coupling with loss, ok, but still 1:1 ratio, then it should be possible to play with that ratio not only by changing the wind numbers but also by modifying the laminate to go from thin to thick. I know, this is ahead of its time.

Some of Akula's pulsed work is very clever & interesting,

In this version
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYjREkw1v-A&t=293s

He uses short pulses from a MOSFET to kick two resonant tank circuits into oscillation.
He knows the propagation delay through the ferrite.

So that by the time the pulse reaches the tank circuits and reflects back again to the MOSFET's output coil, the MOSFET is already switched OFF.
Giving maximum pulse width of twice the propagation delay.

Also thinking the Lenz flux has Bi Toroid feature whereby not all the Lenz flux passes back through originating LC tank source.

I measured a couple of ferrite power transformer E cores here, giving approx 24 nano secs delay for 100 mm distance.
Not very adept at cutting the centre leg off the E though.

The whole idea of Akula's here is very instructive & interesting ....
because by pulsing at twice the resonant frequency of the tank circuit, a parametric style of amplification can be had.
