....is it our leaders doing whats best for us ?....i get a real impression most of our leaders are just a bunch of murdering retards, and if there not planing wars there finding more and more ways to tax us to death.

....it seems like war is the * normal * thing.,.........surly billions and billions are spent on war....your tax dollars.....so its the normal joe blow who supports it and funds war..yes its you,and everyone you know.

..its way past time to grow your own food and TRULY become independant,,relying on our leaders to help us and hand us everything will only lead to death.

..history seems to be stuck on repeat, war after war after war after war,...what the f***k?, when are people going to learn, at this point im gonna guess NEVER.

..its way past time to start hanging these muthafukrs who dont do the right thing and send a message.

...how many times do our leaders try to pass this and that with the public saying NO, practicly EVERY and ANY time it suits THEM, not us.

...im totally disscussted in humanity at this point and time.

...our leaders dont work for us, we work and die for them.

War is a business, period. The grandest enterprise on earth - and it is always to do with profits and debt on immense scales. Wars are carefully instigated through fomented hatreds, fears and patriotic jingoism. The international bankers have at their disposal, the world's geography and resources as a grand chess board, and we, the commoners, make up the pieces to be manipulated and moved by governments, (most importantly, the US), that are their puppets.
The privately owned Federal Reserve Banking System in the United States and the Council on Foreign Relations are key organizations with the genuine power to pursue such matters.
And as long as unimaginable profits can be generated through weapons manufacture, weapons research and through the destruction and rebuilding of nations, the temporary politicians that we ostensibly "elect" to the ceremomial positions in our faux democracy will continue to obey our permanent, self-appointed masters that hide behind the curtain.
Welcome to democracy and naked capitalism.

You might find this report, published some 40 years ago, interesting (in regard to how some people think about war): http://projectcamelot.org/Report_from_Iron_Mountain.pdf

[Notice how much of it hinges also on economic considerations (the report claims high objectivity but "economy" seems to be like an unquestioned religion). Since we're currently heading towards "no economy" and that dependency somewhat disappears, it might be a chance to change the whole picture.]

Thank you for showing me the location of this broad and revealing document. I have begun a close examination of it, and of it's implications. I think it will be a fascinating read.
So many times, as the jingoist ants go about their business, dragging the entire colony into barbaric, manufactured intrigues with a variety of childish ruses of great consequence, I have wished that I could get them to pause, look and listen to our better angels - instead of the self-appointed, manipulative overlords, (acting as social engineers), that hide behind the curtain.

Hi folks, i agree with most of what has been said except this, "the temporary politicians that we ostensibly "elect" to the ceremomial positions in our faux democracy will continue to obey our permanent, self-appointed masters that hide behind the curtain."
I'm sorry but these puppets and their puppet masters are by no stretch of the imagination permanent and to say such is to deny any future prospects of freedom from these world manipulators. We shall be free and we shall have abundance, peace, joy and all the things these controllers are afraid of inside.

No need to add any more to what as been said.

'The best laid plans of mice and men sometimes go astray.'

I'm hoping that axiom applies in this case.

Maybe I'm wrong but I keep feeling an intervention or a betrayal is in the works, and that the seeds were sown on various internet forums by our collective corresponding commentary.

Regards....

Um, your signature refers to the "good fight".  Why don't you catch a clue from that.

Although I applaud your optimism, any sensible, (but most importantly, meaningful), grasp of the last 100 years of US, (and world), history reveals that the mechanisms that effectively dictate events and maneuver civilization have grown more pervasive than ever before - in the entirety of human history. The forces of the secret society/shadow government have carefully and deliberately focused their efforts on the genuine levers of power - and they guard them closely.
There are no manmade accidents or unforeseen disasters - period. Through their puppets and the manufacture of the legitimacy of these puppets and institutional authority, the bewildered herd will follow the the puppetmasters and the events written into the screenplay.
"...all the world is but a stage - and all the people, merely players..."  ~ Wm Skakespeare.
I refer to an exerpt from a speech by John F Kennedy, regarding secret societies, and an ideal example of the independent thinking that likely lead to his murder:
" ... for we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations..."  ~ John F Kennedy, address before the American Publishers Association, April 27, 1961
Any belief or hope that these profoundly motivated and powerful forces have gone quietly into the night is not only unrealistic - it is starkly contradicted by libraries of evidence.
