;)

Just playin with ya.   ;D

As far as I know, these are not spray nozzles.

Let me ask you this though, do you even think it's possible, that, (a) 'they' are technically capable of such a thing and (b) that if they thought they had reason to, they would, and (c) that 'they' even exist?

I'm not trying to challenge you in any way, and I'm not really interested in a debate or argument, I'm just curious.

Yes, the pics you show, those are wing "Wicks"....they "wick" away the static electricity that builds up on the wings. They are a necessity on nearly all flying craft with wings.

  You asked...
a) "'Are "they" technically capable of such a thing" ?
Sure they (the gov't) are. They technically capable of blowing the world up with nukes, but that doesn't worry me that there is an evil intentional plot to do so.

b) "(b) that if they thought they had reason to, they would" ?
And poisoning themselves and their families at the same time ??...and expect all the additional people involved in such a world-wide plan to keep their mouths shut too....I think not...not anymore than I believe in the tooth fairy.

c) "and that 'they' even exist? "
(see above)

btw, the Rumsfeld comment was funny.

and could the static 'wicks' be hollowed out? ;) or is that an impossibility?

I guess so, but why ? Not much volume could be sprayed out of them. Besides, the planes need those wicks when flying, otherwise they wouldn't be there.
Also, they are only 1/4 to 1/2 wide, and hollowing them out would make them so fragile, they would break off at the speed a jet flies at.

do you have some data on how much 'volume' could or could not be sprayed out of them? or links to some data? of course planes need static wicks, that's not the point.
do you have some data or links to data that shows they would break off at the speed a jet flies at?

I am not an aircraft mechanic or designer. Common sense says it's likely they would break.
Is there a reason you think it is possible ?
What sort of plane do you think they might need to disguise such a spray system ?

ok, common sense usually tells me not to assume things...
did you read the whole thread? http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topic=6346.msg239200#msg239200

Yes, I read the whole thread.
Which part are you referring to ?
(edit...just saw your links...I'll go have a look.)

Common sense "is" a sort of assumption.
I assume that if I jump off a cliff, I might die, so the common sense is...don't try it, because I am comfortable in believing the result.

I see it now. That anonymous "mechanic's letter".
That letter seems suspicious to me....looks like an angry employee who didn't follow directions....or it's just bogus. If "he" saw something suspicious, then other mechanics have too....where are their claims ?
But that's just a hunch on my part, and I can't prove a hunch.

But I still have yet to see one picture of a jet "spraying" from the place we are talking about. If they are doing this "daily", around the globe.....why not one  close photo ?

seriously capz, he has brought up some valid points and i'm playing devil's advocate for you because all you can seem to do when someone doesn't hold your world view is say something about trolls... ::)
how about you come up with a picture for him? one picture of a jet "spraying" from the place we are talking about shouldn't be that hard now should it?

respond with logical fallacies because you don't have a cogent argument... classy.

who knows why he stopped responding. maybe he couldn't answer. maybe he didn't want to. i don't know, why don't you ask him?
