So here is the Grav-Gen in a new spot.

More to come soon. Maybe even videos if the tooth fairy brings me a cam.
Will see.

Thaelin, if you let us know what city you live in there may be someone willing to help out and video your Grav-Gen.

I am surprised that this thread has had no posts?? :-\

Oh! but that does not mean  we are not watching  ;)

Interesting design, using on-board electric servo motors rather than pneumatics as per Bob's design.

Same question applies; can it produce enough electricity to be self-sustaining + leaving some for external use?

That is the reason I chose the low speed wind gen heads for this. It is
a perfect match up.
Off to work for two more 12's then time off to play. More to come.

The way it came down, I guessed that no one really had any interest.

But, needed to install stiffners on the rotor. It warped a bit from the size
of weights used. That caused it to wander a bit so that one of the slide
pairs didn't always trigger. Found a 10+ amp dual phase stepper motor
to use for a gen for tests. It will do 20v  at 5 amps at low speed. Should
make more than enough to run plus.
A suitable wind head will set me back 500 bucks and I cant do that at
this point. Into the work week so no more till monday.

Yes there is interest, I for one am keeping a book  mark on this thread.  I am waiting to see who comes forward with  test data first, you or Bob.

The concept you are showing is very intersting to me, as I am tinkering with something similar.

Just curious, who is bob as in user name. Is he using the same idea
as me or a variation?

Bob is responsible for the leading thread under Gravity Powered Devices.
http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topic=2326.0

He goes by the name BobMary, his Machine principle is similar to yours only he uses either hydraulics or pneumatics to do what you are doing with electricity.

Oh yes, I know the machine. Therein lies the proof of scalability of a system
of this type. As the size of wheel and weights increase, you have to make the
actuator units stronger. But then you can move more weight when you do. I
have also looked into lead screws for the purpose. There is just so many ways
this can be done.

Anyhow, will have mine back together tomorrow and up and cranking. Have
set up a Youtube and now have a vid-cam to use.

Just finished the checkout of the gen head I will use. It is a large stepper motor
that can put out 24v at about 5 amps under load. It will power a car head lamp with
both elements lit. This will be more than what is necessary to test out the idea. Since
the actuator motors only use 3 amps at 12v, that should make them sing. Stiffeners
and gen head on today. Then a test run to see how it fairs. If all goes well, I will post
a video of the ugly thing in Youtube and give the link to it.  More later.

   Ya,  filing bankrupcy   >:(

When I pick up the pieces, maybe I can continue things.  Fuckin banks and their FUCKING GREED.

Sorry to all but I am sorely pissed. Bastards took everything I had. At least I still have a broom to sweep
up the ashes with, said its worth nothing so I can keep it.

I WILL BE BACK AND I WILL SHOVE THIS GENERATOR RIGHT UP THEIR ASSES WITH NO LUBE!!
