Title: Bowman Motor
Post by: lltfdaniel1 on November 17, 2005, 05:00:16 PM
Since the Magnets wear out,

It could be turned into a Pulsed ELECTRO-Magnet Motor.

Thus be able to control its field strength and speed.

and be able to Produce its own power and self running.

Which actually looks POSSIBLE.

and in Harmony with the design.

with a FEW Modifcations.

and not conflict with the Motor.

This is a good idea.  :D

But... you would have to use some very efficient electromagnets.

Perhaps if you use a combination of horseshoe magnets and coils?  Considering that the magnetic poles of the coil would reverse when leaving the field of the horseshoe (from where they would be when approaching) - you might devise some positioning that would make use of that and increase the power of the machine as it sits today.

Of course, it it wears out... why not just recharge the magnets with a direct current?  Or replace the whole thing every 3 months?
