Frequency Generator

I am constructing a new frequency Generator, i herd bob mention 3 frequency's in the past and i have also herd Xogen mention the same but with triangle waves.

here is what i have so far, i will update this schematic since i don't know how to apply the frequency's, i will make it where you can sweep it dew to not knowing how to apply the frequency i will just make it where you can pulse all 3 in the next schematic.

Hi Spewing,

When i see this I think to myself this is just 3 D14 circuits in parallel. If you really want to have the effect of 3 frequencies you need to have the frequencies phase locked. Only then the interaction of the frequencies will be optimal. I suggest you have a look at Les Banki's circuit which is an advanced version of the bob boyce pwm controller.

Please take notice of the potential dangers in phase locking three harmonics at around 120 degrees!!!

regards

Robert

Thank you for that! i wasn't aware that bobs schematic was on the net, i will try to find it and also look for Les Banki's circuit. thank you very much for bringing that to my attention!!! i guess i wont build anything till i figure out the proper way yet.

Hi Dutchy,

I have reproduced the Les Banki system, but I don't know how to adjust it.

I got the help of an electric engineer for building the circuit last weekend, but not enough time to figure how to adjust the system and I will not see him again before the holidays period.

I bought a 4 channel 100 MHz oscilloscope, but my knowledge in electronic is limited

Have you some experience with this PWM?
