for use with security camreas  and wireless access points

i will do a blue print dwg

and my design

the orignal power comes from a small solar pannel

i am building this unit as we speek

i finished the first half of 1 bloc and i was just blowen away the out put of 1 ring is 28.5 volts from a aa battery

wow

i will post some pics as soon as i finish this ...

enjoy

You should be carefull when talking about output on an OU forum. So please clarify.

What's the distance of transmission and is it OU?

indeed

this may well be an illision as i used a dvm and i should really take an anolog reading...

i just got my new hd camera ....  now i will take a clear picture ...

a few more pictures  of my unit there is going to be 12 rings and led indicator light to show when the rings are in operation it will be powered during sun light hours with a 12vdc 125 ma 1.8w solar pannel after the sun sets the photo sencor will turn off the solar supply and engage the back up battery supply ... 8) ;D

so in this prototype i have 36 4vdc cordless fone batteries  they will be hooked up in groups of 3 and 1 ring will charge 3 batteryies

ist

will post more as i manifest it  :)

For an 11MP cam those pics sure are crappy :p. Good job anyway!

it is corel draw that makes it a lowlsly picture i will be up loading hi res pictures on our page... today

if there was not a 50k limit the pictures would go on this site but theres that dumb limit....

so i will post elsewhere

ist

so i see we can go to 100k now i will try to enhance the pictures

i tryed to get a better pic but not so much luck must be the settings in the cam...

any how im getting the torroids togather ...  im gonna wind them to day and finish the prototype

the toroides for this unit mesure 1" x .25" thick x 3/8" high

my circuit consists of 2 2n 3904 transistors 2 1n4001 diodes 2 1k resistors and 2 leds...yep thats it....

i will post turns of wire and length of wire used in this unit...

well in thinking about the input side i decided to buy a dc to dc convertor adaptor to step down the 12vdc solar pannel to power my rings the one i bought is rated at 1200ma!!  it is regulated 1.5 - 12 vdc it has curcuit pretection and over heat shut down ...

any how i will add this in the mix ...

here is the unit i bought  it cost 25 bucks plus taxes

hello huston!!!!  we have a problem!!!   lol

cant use the leds if you intend on makeing a battery charger ...i was gonna use em as indicator lite but i cant i will have to add another curcuit if i want an indicator light ...

when a led is put on the curcuit with a 1n 4001 diode the through put drops big time ...  my voltage with the diode was .73 vdc with out the led it was 28.5 volts...

just thought i would correct my curcuit public .. i call this mine because i made it my own ...  this was not my work  it is the jouel theif innovated ;)

ist

here is a pic ...

i think i may have solved my crappy pic problem

well i just finished the input side the solar pannel the battery bank the dc/dc convertor

here is a pic

next i will compleate the rings i have a bunch of wires to add to the charger boards

so in my unit now i have a total of 48 4vdc batteryies

12 are for the solar bank and 36 for output

both banks will be configured to produce 12vdc

i guess i may even drop a small 110vac invertor in the mix too...

to allow other things to be powered ....

keep in mind that this it totally scaleable .....

i see no reason car batteries could not be used 8)

or my next unit i will design may well plug n play wit this one 8)

Post by: innovation_station on October 13, 2008, 04:37:47 PM
here is a picture of a cheep invertor i will be adding in this unit too

it can deliver 60 watts continous..   i dont really need that much power but it is always good to have a little more than you need

so now  it looks like i will have my 12vdc 1 amp out plus a 110 feed at 60 watts ...

so

the upgrade for this unit is now in my head.....

it will plug n play with this unit and we will step it up a notch..... with the add on ;)

Hi
I fell for the title of wireless power supplies thinking you had come up with something new.
What are you talking about?
A solar Panel is not considered a wireless Power Supply just another source of energy like a Battery.
If you were transmitting some form of energy derived by your solar panel or the house current via aether and converting it to useful power  like tesla did, then you truly have achieved just what your heading indicates.
All other its just providing solar power which is nothing new .
If I am missing something here  please correct me.

indeed

you and most of the rest of u missed the WHOLE POINT     lol!!

i can take the solar away will that make you happy.....

the point is my bank is charged from the zpe......then it is cascaded  ;)  amped if u will....

yes im sure i can figure out wireless transfer of power.....  in fact .... well i wont go there ....

ist

my unit is a wireless reciever...  oh its a transmitter too!!!

i designed the plug n play upgrade last night it will take the output from this unit wich it totally free VIA SOLAR AND RE CAPTURE AND CONVERSION

that will become my in put to my IST MKC and there will be 3 of em in the up grade .....  they will charge a car battery..... or battery bank....

now if you are concerned about the solar remove it and tap off the car battery....  to close the loop

if you are looking to transfer power wirelessly like tesla .....

well then

this is not the place for this   altho i have some designs floating round my head on teslas wireless power.....

Sorry I don't get it!
I am sure you will make someone else happy. if nothing else you seem to enjoy yourself doing what you are doing.
Please don't misunderstand me I really can't see the point Sorry Maybe a schematic rather than pictures  would help to bring your point across.

youtube joule theif...

that is what i am useing....

the curcuit will be drawen.....  when i can squeeze it in ......

the point is this is cold electricty converted to hot ,,,,  it is not the battery im reading on my meter.... it is the battery plus the GOOD STUFF... ;)

just try to use the power with out the use of a led or a diode or a cap

just see if it is real power of faluse power lol

its all real just most in this world dont know how to use it.....

a shame....

Do I understand this device properly?
You built 2 Joule Thief circuits on one circuit board with the toroidal transformers in close proximity to each other.
You are feeding current into one and extracting current from the other.
There is no physical connection between the 2 toroids thus the reason you call it wireless.
From the pictures it looks like you have a short antenna wire connected to each 1k resistor.

they are independent of one another each will charge  3 batteryies the bank will be discharged as 1 12 vdc source

So how do you use this false power?  I built one of these thiefs, but it doesn't seem to be more than increasing voltage at the expense of the amperage.

Don't need a scope just use volt and amp meter and do your math.

professor
if u use a scope you will see the spikes i woluld expect to see spikes but if spikes are not present than

well

you may well be correct but i just donot think the later is the case as i have done this many many many ways ....

yep

can you lite 45 leds from 1 tiny ring i can and have a long time ago..  yes they are all 3vdc leds with the use of a single aaa battery....

ist

i know for fact that i am correct and if i am not well time to learn somthing new!!!!!

just change the freq of the coil and see what happins if you lower the freq well the lights are not as bright and may not even lite

to change the freq change the resistor
