I found this a very informative movie. It showed many things i believe many people here believe in and can identify with. Since I'm religious I don't agree with that part in the movie. Other than that it's a real eye opener. Earth doesn't need politics or the economy it needs to be social and technological.

I watched this yesterday. I kinda expected it to be just as nutty conspiracy movie as the first one, but this one is more antiestablismentarianistic (is that a word) than anything else. I found it quite inspiring actually, and the most significant point they made was that abundance makes wealth meaningless and unnecessary. I've been saying that for years. The theme meets with this forum nicely because the logical first step is to make energy abundant  ;)

addendum released at a perfect time in history to make a mark , with a potential "black tuesday" coming soon people will need to wake up before someone put them to sleep for another 20 year.

Hello Broli,

It has been some time since I viewed this film, but as far as I recall the "religious part" was an attempt at helping us move beyond a small circumscribable concept of the Divine, to something without beginning or without end. Then we can be more open to the discovery of the underlying reality of self and universe.

That said, I understand how questioning the historical and physical reality of our favorite deity can be very uncomfortable and seem to shove a knife into the very heart of what we are....or rather the "me" who we believe ourselves to be. Personally I have found that all that is cherished must be let go, and what remains is an open portal to what is genuine. Easier said, than done.

Für Addendum (2008) gibts noch keine Untertitel – obiges ist der Vorläufer von 2007.

This movie does expose the debit money problem quite nicely.

However, their godless global socialist solution will not work.

We need to return to an honest, real money system.

Congress needs to return to coining money, regulating the value thereof.  We have long experienced what happens when they abdicate this responsibility to the central bankers: debit, devaluation, and taxation without true representation.

It's never been tried so we can't know for certain. Communism is close to that, but is founded on collective labour input, which is impossible to motivate for prolonged periods of time. On top of that communistic societies have been without exceptions dictatorships, which is never a good thing. I don't think money should be abandoned completely though, but it would be more suited to control priorities rather than being the only motivation.

It is still very unlikely of course. To get it started you'd need a huge corporation knowingly open itself and all its resources to small but motivated community of highly educated people. From there it would then grow. Point being, you have to use the system to change the system, which isn't very easy.

But for starters, giving money an exact unchanging value would be far more sustainable system than the current one.

The object of this film is to make people self-aware and self-empowered.There are already people on this earth that believe that they are gods and they can prove it with the sum of their assets. The presupposition of a "savior" implies that there will always be a mass of ignorant supressed and poor people.Government and religion are founded on this implication. We have become less than slaves under these systems.Slaves must be housed and fed...this is a minimalist requirement of rulers/leaders.To anyone who has seen this movie consider yourself enlightened. The poor cannot be made to care for one another...just as the rich will not trade equal assets.Empires are built on the backs of slaves.Monetary gain represents the piles of human corpses on which the rich stand and look down on the rest of us.
