Hard to find anything i can use.
« on: December 11, 2008, 12:54:10 AM »
Ok before i start i live in the regional country town of Perth in Australia... I am having trouble finding the equipment i need and i thought that people may be able to help me out in locating some equipment. First off i need to find an adjustable voltage transformer and potentiometer (spelt wrong but you get that) pretty much i would like a nice little package that i can plug in (to the wall or to a car battery) and then adjust the voltage and current outputs with 2 separate knobs. the closest i have found is the local lecys has one that is close. 0-30v and 0-2.5a which is up there as a plus with the price of just under $150 AUS (at the current exchange thats about $10 US :P)

Also if anyone has any links to sites that have information on dealing with electrical circuits of fluctuating voltage and current that would be a great help.

@CrazyEwok

Here is the link for power supplies on Ebay Australia
http://shop.ebay.com.au/items/__power-supply?_trkparms=66%253A2%257C65%253A1%257C39%253A1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_pgn=12

Saw this one - looks nice for the price.

You may have to copy and paste the second one into your browser.

Best of luck in your search.
