Improve your Milage with Acetone Mix

Nothing new but I thought that I would confirm that I have greatly improved the Performance of my Vehicle.
I am driving a 4Cyl. RAV4 Toyota that was rather sluggish and not too fuel efficient
My first step was to use the recommended amount of Acetone and Xylene .This made a hough difference
I have no Documentation just noticed the improvement by driving up the same incline but not needing to shift down any more.
The second improvement which was about as significant as the first, was that I used some Bosch platinum plus4 plugs.
There  was nothing wrong with the Original plugs that by the way, were white in Color which could be contributed to a clean burn.
 If the vehicle did not have a computer I would say the car is running too lean.
Anyway I am very happy about the results and I did not mind spending the extra money for the Plugs.

The Plugs are  BOSCH PLATINUM+4  Satisfaction Guaranteed if you don't feel the Difference Bosch will pay for the Plugs and were bought from Lordco but are available almost anywhere,my cost was $12.85 can.
The 2 Book Gas Saving Techniques and User Manual are about  Milage Improvements both Hydrogen and otherwise but they have to be purchased although by now I found many references of these various improvements that are in this Book shown on the Net, just can not remember where because it was of no importance to me as I had the Books.It contains schematics and Instructions about EFI 's Map sensors anything and everything well worth the money

I am using just a good high temperature two stroke Oil (not the one for outboard Motors)
Same I have been using in my Rotax UL engine.
The other stuff is too hard to obtain.
Have not blown up my engine Castrol  works for me just use a bit more than recommended ,doesn't hurt
lubricates the fuel pump, upper parts and injectors.

Its really not important what Brand you buy. I have been using Castrol oil for my Ultralight Planes for the past 25Years  and had never an issue with it. There are many other brands that are equivalent as long as it is for a  High Temp Two Stroke Application like a Motorcycle vs. Outboard Motor (Low ash)  the rest is irrelevant There is however another Oil on the Market called "Bitron"  which is Superior to  ALL other Oils, but it is distributed like Avon by Individuals and not available in Stores.It is a Russian Invention where they  have removed an Electron out of the Oil  hence the oil has the tendency to search for and once found, adhere to Metal.
Someone has run an Aicraft Engine by accident with no oil pressure for an extra half an Hour without doing any Damage.
If you fill a glas container with water and drop a metal Coin into it then you pour out some oil, on top of the water some of it will  within a minute or so  get sucked down through the Water onto the Coin.
 I confirmed that. Also a Dealer demonstrated it by applying a measured amount pressure  in foot pounds against a rotating shaft that was lubricated, using different Brands of Oil.
They all seized the shaft eventually as things heated up ,the oil became very viscously and flowed away from the source of friction leading to less lubrication and seizure.The opposite happens to "Bitron" it flows right into the source of friction .
I was told that there are other Brands with the same Technology including a High Temp. Compressor Oil.
Don't know that, would  have to check that out.

AXG7 formula (USA) has two parts:
PART 1 – balance of parts in AXG7
PART 2 – how much AXG7 in the tank

2 parts Acetone
1 part Xylene
1 part Torco GP-7 (or Torco SSO)

Gasoline engines: 3 oz. per 10 Gallons
Diesels: 2 oz. Per 10 Gallons

For European Metric system:

AXG7 - METRIC formula:

PART 1 – balance of parts in AXG7
PART 2 – how much AXG7 in the tank

2 parts Acetone
1 part Xylene
1 part Torco GP-7 (or Torco SSO)

Gasoline engines: 22.5 gr. per 10 liters
Diesels: 15 gr. per 10 liters

AXG7, in California prices, should cost $0.58 per ounce = $1.75 per 10 Gallon.
Assuming it enhances the sum of $30 invested in 10 Gallons to 110%
(10% MPG gain), we stretch a $31.75 investment to $33.
Not dramatic but worth it because the
GP-7 pays big in reduced maintenance.

However if you want to play with the formula, especially in order to make it more
affordable, the first thing to reduce is the expensive GP-7 (go down hard, see table
below), and then try to drive with equal amounts of xylene and acetone.
In any case
ACETONE is a major player and should be at least equal to the other ingredients.

AXG7-TS (TS for 'teaspoon' – see below the table):
PART 1 – balance of parts PART 2 – how much in tank
30 parts Acetone*
20 part Xylene*
1 part Torco GP-7*
Gasoline engines: 3 oz. per 10 Gallons
Diesels: 2 oz. per 10 Gallons
* If you want to measure it in ounces, this translates exactly to to 5 oz. of Acetone,
3.33 oz. of Xylene and 1 Teaspoon (5cc) of GP-7.

Now this formula, AXG7-TS, in California prices, is only $0.11 per ounce = $0.32 per
10 Gallon. Assuming it enhances the sum of $30 invested in 10 Gallons to 110%
(10% MPG gain), we stretch a $30.32 investment to $33. Much better economically,
wouldn't you say? Provided, of course, that it indeed gives you the same 10% for
your vehicle and driving conditions.

This information is as said experimental, and will always be. Because driving
conditions change so much, drivers and driving habits change, not to mentioned the
wide range of differences from one model to another – even from the same model
last year to this year. We'll never be able to calculate for sure what a Mazda 626 will
do uphill in North Dakota will do for the Gallon when it has 120,000 miles.

Who's the driver? How much wind? You get the point.

But the additive formulas DO give us, for
every car and driver, a clear starting point – as well as a definite range of
blending ratios.

A2X10 (Acetone 2, Xylene 10):
PART 1 – balance of parts
PART 2 – how much in tank

2 parts Acetone
10 parts Xylene
Torco GP-7: zero to 3-15 DROPS*

Gasoline engines: 12 oz. per 10 Gal.**
Diesels: 8 oz. per 10 Gallons

* That's 3 to 15 drops of GP-7 into the full tank of the car. Start without GP-7.
If you're getting better results with this formula compared to the previous ones,
AXG7 or AXG7-TS, try now with GP-7 in small quantities of a few drops per tank.
Stick with what works best for you.

** Sounds like a lot? Look here: A2X10 roughly calculates to cost around $0.06/oz or
$0.75 per 10 Gallon. That's when we eliminate the GP-7 which is quite expensive.
Compare that to AXG7 formula that came out as $0.58/oz or $1.75 for 10 Gallon.

Much cheaper now (less than half actually), and I hope it works better for you. At the
time of writing (August 13, 2007) I haven't finished testing but it seems like this
formula works well for my Corolla.

NOTE: Sometimes using 2-3 tankfuls of gasoline (per formula)
is necessary to see a rise or drop in mileage, since the vehicle
“remembers” the previous formula.

So don't change abruptly or expect a formula to work or change
overnight.

Give it time to sink in (or out, if you remove one).

The best way is to let the vehicle “forget” slowly over a tankful
of straight gasoline (no additive formulas at all), then resume
with the new formula.

You can also save money using this phenomena: add your
favorite formula once every SECOND refill.

I use 1 oz of acetone/10 gal of gasoline in my surveillance van.  (It has over 210,000 miles on it)  My overall (highway and city) mileage went up from 17 to 23 mpg!  Now, I have read both good and bad about doing this.  Some say it eats the rubber in the fuel pump and other such stuff.  My vehicle is a 1995 Mercury Villager V-6 with fuel injection.  If the mileage did not improve, I would still use it as the idle was a little rough for a while and they said I needed to replace my O2 sensors (2 of them at $80 each!!!) but after just one tank of this mixture (1oz/10 gal) the idle smoothed out and it no longer pings on regular gasoline.  I was running mid grade and high grade due to the carbon build up on the heads which raised the static compression ratio.  Now, it runs just fine on regular gas.  I admit I don't add it to every tank but, when I do...everything seems to get better.

I read online that the EPA (here in the US) raised the vapor pressure standards for fuel.  they explained that this simply means the gasonline will not evaporate as fast so as not to pollute the air while refueling.  Wow!  I mean, how much fumes escape when refueling?  So, when they did this, the gas not only does not evaporate as fast, it does not mix with the air as fast (as per definition) and therefore you don't get as good a burn with it in the combustion chamber.  So, to save a little air pollution (very little) at the pump, they degrade our gas so we get worse mileage which greatly raises the air pollution!   Anyway, this is what I read and it may or may not be correct but it makes good sense to me.  If nothing else, it cleaned the carbon off of my heads and lowered my static compression ratio so I can run regular gas all the time.  plus, I get the added 6 mpg on my combined highway and city driving!  It has to be 100% pure acetone, no additives and this is not so easy to find over here.

In my quest for better fuel effeciency, I also stuck these plugs in a Toyota but after more than a year I am pretty confident that they have had little to no effect.   I have also tried acetone which also had no effect.  However I later realised the stuff I used wasn't 'pure' as it contained benzine, so the jury is still out on that one.  Finally, I invested in an oil additive called Cermax, having read wonderful things about it - http://www.detailshere.com/cermax.htm - again, none of the suggested improvements materialised.  Worse, the 2'nd bottle of the 2-dose treatment turned out to have 'jellified' before I had a chance to use it (after a 4000 mile oil-change) so I didn't even have the satisifaction of at least trying it fully!

So, the search continues...
