Title: Has anyone ever tried basketweave coils ?
Post by: the badger on September 07, 2008, 01:02:49 AM
The Hendershot generator uses basketweave coils wrapped in and out around 57 dowel pins 1\8 inch diameter standing in a circle 5 15\16 inch diameter. http://www.svensons.com/Energy/hendershot2.html
What if an even number of pins were used and 2 wires were wrapped so that they crossed at 90 degrees to each other between each dowel. Would this be a good pattern for one wire inducing the other? What if a steel core and the primary coils from Tesla patent 381970 were added to spin a magnetic field around it. Would this be worth trying or a waste of time to experiment with?

I'm just a newbee  with a couple of ideas.

Coil arrangements are an untapped area really it seems while it is emerging as a known from an unknown many people main stream have not researched coils and there is it much scientific data on coils and materials that is accessible makes me wonder why as well as you...

YES!

Please do attempt differnt materials and coil arangements... There is not enough open data in these fields.

Nice looking workmanship GK. Have you ever tried to basket weave the coils? Hendershot said this was the main thing about his device.

here's another... all it does is buzz, the internal coil needs to be larger,
the external coil is a continuous iron core

You folks might be interested in caduceus coils:

They produce scalar waves. Much in JLN about
this.
