near unity
« on: August 13, 2008, 06:46:58 PM »
any thoughts on the marketability of near unity motors?
Could a permanent magnet motor with some battery assist extend the range of per say an electric car.
the near unity motor would be the primary force in moving the vehicle.

I read one article of a shock absorber configured to harness its movement into an electrical charge.
could small wind generators contribute? drag would not equal electrical output.
solar assist? use solar power to get a magnet motor through its gate with use of capacitors?
sterling engine to run off of temperature diferances?
can regenerative breaking apply to permanent magnet motors?
