What the heck is happening here ?

I found this video while surfing and just cannot wrap my head around it.  How do you hoax so many of them at the same time ?

My guess would be the Hutchinson effect. It does have a similar layout display.

Hi ThothTheSecond,

interesting clip, thanks for posting...

It looks like they have little mags on the wheels if so then that whole array would pretty quickly synch up if not then I would expect chaotic wobbles. Perhaps the spin is maintained by remote pulser with a big square coil behind the noticeboard at the back of shot? If this is the case he could turn on the pulser and spin up each top and it would fall or rise in RPM to the transmitted frequency provided he got it close enough to the frequency with the spin, he could then speed the whole array up by slowly winding up the frequency generator.

But then again maybe he just had a box of doodahs off something and thought they'd make good spinning tops and then wondered how many he could get spining at once on the bottom of glasses, like spinning plates? I would imagine it'd be quite good fun to try.

Thanks for the reply AB.  I'm new to all this stuff and had no idea if it showed anything of worth or not.

This is where I found it, but can't remember what page, very confusing site, lots of theory but I couldn't really get what the author of the page was getting at (not quite sure if the author knew either).  Like I said, very convoluted & confusing.  As you can tell by the website name, very Leedskalnin oriented.  If you go to the links page there are some familiar names that I've seen on overunity (eg. Howard Johnson, Tesla).

Please let me know if this is all a heap of hooey, if anyone has any time of course.

He calls it an "equilibrius grid" which I suppose is a fair name for it, he mentions magnetism:

Quote
"Expanding Magnetic Fields of Resonance" and much more

lol "much more", like what? :D I don't think it's OU, I'm sure he would have mentioned it if it was, but that doesn't make it hooey, it'd be nice to fiddle with it.

So yes they're probably all magnets and the whole system will have an equilibrium or steady state of running to it as each top is quite heavily coupled with every neighbour and thus every top is coupled with every other, 20 pendulum clocks all on the same wall will synch up in the end just by being coupled via the pendulums shaking the wall.

it's a nice analog of a matrix of atoms each causally connected to every other.

He states somewhere that atoms are made of magnets, or something like that.  I kinda got lost in the site because he seemed to repeating the same things over and over.  Someone more knowledgable might get something from it.

He really seems to like drawing with the leedskalnin graphic from "Magnetic Current"

Never could figure out what the actual solution he continually refers to, just keeps saying "Do you see it yet ?" over and over and over..  I posted in "magnet motors" because it was Leedskalnin oriented.

Thanks for the replies though.
