Post by: Steve101 on July 05, 2008, 10:25:41 PM
Hi
Looking for some 350v 47000uF Capacitors,   Where do you get them from ?

Can anybody suggest a good store!

Cheers
Steve

@Steve101

Are you serious or what. You will need 5 of these at $375.00 a piece.

? El.cap PEH200 10000uF/350V (751-3)
Capa- citance F: 10000 μ
Max. ripple (100 Hz, 85 ?C) Arms: 19.7
Max. ESR (100 Hz, 20 ?C) mΩ: 11
Dim. ??L mm: 90?145
1 unit $419.66
5 units $374.84
10 units $348.76

Thanks
Looks like I will have to find something else for this.
Trying to replicate Dafmans circuit
htp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t3q6mCraI-c

and then apply it to a different motor setup, I'm sure he describes a capacitor of 350v 47000uF.
Unfortunately these are a lot more expensive than I thought.

Does anyone have a solution to use something more reasonable?
Thanks

Howdy,

That's a really big ass cap.  You won't find a single part to do that.  You will have to build a capacitor array on a circuit board.  So what do you need such a massive capacitor for?

Blessed Be Brother...

Not sure why he needs 350 v when the circuit is only 12v,  thought they were off the shelf but will look for something different here.

Cheers
all.

Be aware that a lot of so-called high capacitance capacitors are actually made of internal batteries so they won't be usable as the true capacitors are in various applications.

steeve 101

i have 4 caps i will sell ...  3 of them  20 000 uf 50vdc max

and i have 1 2500mfd 350vdc

if your intrested make an offer

there large grey caps and 1 blue one 2.5" across 6 " tall

w

blue one is a mallory and other 3 are mepco electra

i would use the 350 volt to remove .. to allow for high speed and use the other 3 as output ...

hope this helps
