With the ridicule oil price, I think its now time we make our own fuel at home!

I think similar machine could be made to produce methanol from water, carbon dioxide and electricity. In theory it would not have any limit on how much fuel it would produce a week, other than the supply of power and carbon dioxide.

Thing that bugs me about announcments like this is that they are always advertised as available in the future (this one 4th quarther 2008) never seem to be on sale for the past 6 months...
