Yes, I'm not quite understanding how you are getting H2 by mixing H2O2 with steel scrap, either. In the video he clearly says he uses aluminum, and it's fairly common knowledge that aluminum, mixed with lye, releases hydrogen...Or are we not talking about that video anymore, I'm confused :).

Hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen quite easily with metal catalysts, but I'm not sure where you get the hydrogen from.

the scraps ARE NOT ALUM THEY ARE STAINLESS  look at them!!!

this is makeing hydgron and he looks to be useing compressed air to move the fluid.. ..  when the fluid is moved around it it will interact with the stainless makeing hydgron and the oxy is already there ......

i have not burnt the gas....   altho it looks identical to hho  and acts the same when electrofied

Heh, you can't really deduce what the metal scrap is just by looking at it, but to me it really looks more like aluminum (just like he says).
But even if we assume it is steel, I'm still not following you here.
Could you give us some working principle how you are getting hydrogen out of it the way you have described? (e.g. chemical equations)

But where can we find the video you found yourself that inspired you?

secret ingredient, h2o2?
Sorry, didn't see the post containing the link

finally this morning it stoped produceing ......

im guessing it is all used up the hydgron peroxcide ....

but i will give it another zap from a 9v battery and see what the results are

ist

what is the activator ingredient in the last vid i posted ??

so i re engerized it with the 9 v and it was back in production ....   until i disconnected the 9v  then it stoped so .... it must be the peroxcide so i added more hydgron peroxcide 35% and yep back to work.... all by its self with out electricty .....

hummmm.....

You sure it is hydrogen what's released and not oxygen?

finally i have come up with a great cell design

and i noticed that when you use hydgeron peroxide 35 % and tap water and bakeing soda the cell is CLEAN  also the STAINLESS STEEL DOES NOT BUILD UP WITH CRAP

and of course production is much much more and with out power ....

APPLCATIONS

home heating the piolet light .....

the plan was to keep the a small supply of gas production all the time and when the theromastat kicks in it turns on the power to the tubes ...

no mantinance as to cleaning and such inside the cell

just tooo kool 8)

ist

i will post a few pics of my home heating supply cell  and my new simple design cell

See if you can get your hands on some silver plates or even fine silver mesh. You won't even need baking soda with that.

YES!! i found the vids  ;D ;D ;D

answer this question how does this unit work ??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2DY1gSiEmM&feature=related

i will be adding more links  :) 8)

i want to hear all of your best guesses how this works ...

yes i do know how this works  ;D

ist

another vid

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3SU9ax0_30

That first video, where he fills up the plastic bag with H2 written on it in big letters.
That does answer my thought on what weight H2 is in regard to air. As I didnt know till I looked it up a while back that Carbon (6) is lighter than Oxygen (8). I would have thought it the other way round.

I just wonder how legal that H2 bag release would be? Being very inflamible, it just made me chuckle a bit. Then the greenie in me thought, hey wait a dogman minute, that's putting plastic in the environment, the stuff that kills critters. (saw an albatross with half a plastic thingy stuck down it's throat, and caught on it's mouth stopping it from feeding, but the documentary scientists removed it - just had to mentioned awareness on that. Chances are it might make it to some remote location out at sea if it took of that high.)

I did hear something about Aluminium and water getting H2 out. That did look metalic what he was feeding in initially.

Thanks for the info.

I do wonder about chemicals. As H is given off from a regular Lead Acid battery on charge, and that has sulphuric acid in it. I don't know what chlorine would give off, but I do know mixing chorline as a 13yo blew up gave me third degree burns to my hand, and had me hospital for a week or so, with many visits for redressings. Leaving molten residue on the burns which needed to be removed with soapy water and a nail brush by the doctors. Won't do that again, well not exactly the same way, uno what boys are like ;)

Below is my idea for a fuel cell.  I would like it if any one could tell me what is wrong with the idea.  Basicly water/electrolyte is held in a resivoir runs down a hose that is split and delivered to both ends of the cell. Each place is seperated by a Grainger.com 2JAV8 in a Positive/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Negative/Negative/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Neutral/Positive with a 4"OD 1" long seperates th two negatives in the middle which has a hose connector attached to allow gas to escape.  Sorry for the run on sentance but wanted to describe as much as possible.

Feel free to pick it a part so I can try to improve apon it.

Ah :) .... this was in the videos :

Al2O3 + H2O + NaOH = Looooooot of HHO , very dangerous combination be careful with this toy :D
