perpetual un-balancing machine
« on: September 08, 2005, 06:15:37 PM »
I have come across this idea one late night. It made me quite excited. The machine will start to fall to one side then the magnets will switch the side the water in the tube is on. the tubes will notbe slanted onan extreme angle, therefore the energy of the falling side will be enough to offset the water in the tube after being repelled by the magnets positioned on the top and bottom.

Thnx for viewing, any comments are appreciated.

sincerly Sypherios.

In this new pic, The blue dots are bearing(abec 9). The yellow in the rectagles represents the liquid, The large rectangles are ndfeb and of course the + means north face. When it is started by minimal effort to imbalance it, it drops to one side the bucking magnetic field will tip over both rectangles that contain liquid causeing another im-balance. This pic is dramaticly inacurate when to comes to sizes and the angle of the rectangles. The angle will be just enough to keep the liquid to one side. there will be satbilizer arms to keep them at the specific angle. The magnets will also be much smaller in comparison to the pic.

It appears to me to be a balanced machine.  It takes energy to tip each liquid container, so you will not be creating anything extra (equal energy at each side).  After you give it a push to get it started, there is nothing to keep it moving.
