tommorow is the "big day"!
« on: May 17, 2008, 06:11:29 AM »
i think tommorow will be the big day, as imma try to use my made from scratch o2 sensor volt adder(battery housing from a broken remote controll (1.5 v) and a 10k ohm pot.) to see if i get an engine lean...i still have to figure out wich wires on the 4 wire o2 sensor to hook up, then if i figure that out i can hook up my wfc and go from there, im so excited to see if a can do it! i love this stuff! and i am addicted, AND SELF PROCLAIMED HYDRO-SLUT. if there is anything anyone has to say about their experience that woulndt mind taking there time to type, id love to hear it!!!!! i do know a *little* more than the basics... i kinda just maybe wanna hear your story or a problem you over came. I CANT WAIT!!! id talk to my friends about this but they dont have the mindset for this...like people do here, and i do not know a single person who has one brain cell commited to hho...   PEACE

Good luck with your experiment. What are trying to do? Run your fuel lean by using a pot connected in series with the O2 sensor? How will you know when it's running lean? Watch out for overheating. You have a great chance of warping your head/s if you don't pay attention to the temp. Some use water injection to aid in cooling and add torque. I personally don't think modifying a common computerized automobile is a cost savings in the long run. I'm opting for something like a VW Beetle(old school) where I will have much more control over the tuning of the vehicle. Modern cars are made to waste and nothing more. In most cases the modifications required out cost the value of the vehicle.

unfortunately i have nothing older than 1990 to play with, but im trying to lean the gas to add hydrogen.... ill know its running lean when the rpms drop @ idle and i will only let it do that for a second or 2...then ill add my electrolyser.
