I?ve always wondered about Tesla lighting all those bulbs
26 miles away. It could not be a normal transmitter, no matter what configuration.
So there was ?something else? that was missing.
His ?Diametrically opposite to a Hertzian transmitter?, transmitter i believe.

If you looked at the Tesla coil as an electron pump, plates on either side,

Would the capacitor change the polarity of one plate,
Or would you need a more elaborate capacitor
network to be able to reverse polarity?

If it could be done,i think It would make a very powerful
(mono) electrostatic oscillator/electron shuttle, where the entire air around
the machine would flip polarity back and forth and the air might even vibrate.

a free moving electron shuttle too, like a piston going back and forth. (no return path, plates are same polarity)

I always thought Tesla was ?3 phase?.
But I can see now that his main passion was electrostatics,
As I do. This was rediscovered when I was designing  a electron shuttle
for a monopole (homopolar) motor light speed drive. (in ?other antigravity devices folder)
And I noticed the striking similarity to Tesla?s radiant energy patent.

Tesla talked about a device "diametrically opposite to a hertzian transmitter".
this could possibly be Tesla?s wireless energy ?the missing transmitter? .

Note regarding the Mono Electrostatic Oscillator/Electron Shuttle.

A flipping polarity around the machine could throw off particles
Through electrostatic repulsion.
It would probably be better if both plates where covered with a dielectric ?cover?.
This would also help to prevent damping, and might look like the Tesatika's
?big cans?.

Just some thoughts on the Linde liquid air cycle.

and Tesla?s comments that, that was all he needed to prove his concept.

the heat exchanger runs in opposite directions, high pressure in one.
Low pressure in the other, recycle closed system.

The Tesla magnifying transmitter coil (flat panckae tesla coil) I would bet,
Is a bifilar secondary (currents running in opposite directions),
And might even be disconnected from each other, though
Electrostatic connected together. (a capacitor as well as a transformer)

How this fits into the sink is still unknown to me at this point.

Added:
It might also be two (separate) bifilar pancake tesla coils.
Just one with disconnected bifilar might not induce current.

*Diamagnetic* (zinc) can, also a diamagnetic type of carbon? .
A regular D cell battery (not alkaline)
Is a zinc can with a carbon rod inside.
Might be too small to experiment with though, Tesla mentions a quarter
square foot for his battery (array?)

Didn't this spark gap configuration act as a crude diode?
The electrons tended to break away from the small diameter more than from larger diameter.
