THE DC HIGH VOLTAGE LINEAR HOMOPOLAR MOTOR / GENERATOR
« on: April 23, 2008, 06:06:40 AM »
Testing not complete, I don't have capability to test further.
But it looks very promising.

If, the magnet is replaced with a electromagnet in such a way
That as electrons are shuttled back and forth, with the electromagnet
switching
polarity in relation to the electron direction.
And, a reservoir is placed on either side, with a inverter on one
side,
This could possibly be an electrostatic free energy generator.

Plate/linear homopolar/(possible non-resonant transformer)/voltage
inverter/plate
(one wire, all in series)

ADDED:

with further discussion in another group,
it looks like this would not work because of counter half turn return paths
.............

ADDED:

results now from negative to inconclusive. there is somesort of movement,
it could be an error though,

thrust results now in doub't.
i wasn't expecting much.
i believe a homopolar takes high current and high magnetic fields.
but now it looks like it might be somehow just
moving to the magnetic field of the earth.
i don't know now, it's still a bit wierd.

Cliff,

Testing results now changed from negative to inconclusive.

Tested "symmetrical Figure 8 coil"
(wind one figure 8 loop on two fingers, remove, turn inside out, wind
one more
figure 8 , repeat). One wire ends up in the middle.

Tested: " folded symmetrical figure 8 coil" (take figure 8 coil made
above,
Hold one loop and twist other coil 180 degree's). (should be the same
as regular
ordinary coil)

Retested original coil as well.

Tested all with coil horizontal and vertical.

Results inconclusive.

Device made out of two hard drive magnets with backing plate bridges,
Set into a magnetic loop, coil inbetween,22 gauge coil/10 turns.
1.5 volt nickel metal hydride AA battery.
in plastic bowl, set in still water.

Movement was small, could be water current or magnetic attraction to
the earths field.

i really don't know! i need that million dollar lab. lol

Cliff,

........................

Correction:

Folded should be twisted 180 degree's,sorry. (so it's still a figure
8  )
(folded not tested)

Movement is there as far as I can tell, with coil in horizontal
position.

Tested first with device off.

Error's could be, the field is "twisted" so its acting
like a vertical coil attracting to some metal, water currents, the
earth's magnetic field,
or the removal and replacement of the unit from the water to throw
the switch.

setup was room temp water added 3/4 to stainless steel sink through
spaghetti strainer ,
spaghetti strainer left in sink as baffle for one hour. (baffle left in during testing)

Further test results.

It acts like a compass!
It will rotate with force to align with the earth's magnetic field.
Direction of movement is always east.

Device movement might be weak due to earth's weak field.
Field strength increased by placing magnets in attraction on
Either side of the device (after device aligns with earths field,
magnets placed in "enhance" earths field alignment) with apparent
increase in thrust.
Movement is 90 degrees out from what was expected as well.

Could be errors here, device still turns with force to align
With the earth and then moves east.

possible correction
DC HIGH VOLTAGE LINEAR HOMOPOLAR MOTER / GENERATOR

ADDED:

Sad update finally,

It really looks like it?s attracted to some outside magnetic field/iron.

First I wondered about the earth, (that would have been really bad)
But it just seems (because of the east only direction) to be
An outside field.

Anyone got a magnetically neutral and shielded room by any chance?

I still think there?s something there with the
Linear homopolar, however, it is beyond my means to pursue this further
at the moment.

ADDED:

this linear motor appears to be able to work with the "radioactive decay linear homopolar motor
sub-light speed drive"
counter-half loop return path turns appears to be an error on my part.

a resonant version would appear to be the "TESLA COIL"

tito, ramset  have you tried to build what is described in this thread  or the other thread, or are you just immature ?

"ping"  was to bring two threads up from 2008.

ps, i have no sense of humor. i've been doing free energy research for years and it is serious research.
check some of my posts through this site. and also stephans old yahoo free energy site. ( hey stephan, long time huh?) i've been doing research for a very long time.

oh! sorry sir I apologize were just trying to make you smile, your too serious.  ;)

i'm not actually immature i'm premature.  ;D joke

bye sir  ;)

keep on exploring sir i'm one of your fans.  ;)
