Can i get some feedback
« on: April 01, 2008, 03:51:55 PM »
Hello,
I have been working on many things in regards to a working gravity wheel. I have 2 video from youtube on Chaos peundulum variations. Both appear to come to a stop at one point but allow them selves to start again

I somewhat realise that the energy to restart comes from stored energy in the outside pendulu. But anyone who can explain a little more would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked at all of the pendulum applets on the web and none that i can see have the ability to model these behaviors.

I also know that the centrifugal force of a spinning wheel would have some force on these, if they were spun very fast it would just hang straight out. but i think that the forces exerted by a wheel making a revolution every 2 seconds( as i believe the 11 foot wheel did) may not effect this type of momentum.

Anyway here are the 2 videos,

@Dgraphic911

 I find the chaos pendulum very interesting and after I make a couple and run them through some test I will be able to give an opinion and possible advice.

Thanks for posting the information.
